I agree 100% DX12 on XB1 will not be a fully loaded version of DX12, it's likely only a subset of features will be available to the hardware. I also agree 1000% that there is no secret hardware on the Xbox One, consumer electronics don't work that way.

I love playing pretend, okay in my world Call of Duty isn't the most played game on PlayStation and Madden wasn't heavily associated with the PlayStation brand for years and years. Huh, I guess I hallucinated buying OPM to get the SOCOM 2 DLC. DLC was going to happen no matter what, it was as inevitable as Online gaming becoming a common thing associated with consoles. It's a poor replacement for Expansion Packs sure, but the idea that poor DLC is one platform holders fault is asinine.

The Games With Gold thing was supposed to end in December but they've said since that it will continue and also include the XB1 in the future.
It's not as good as PS+ right now, but it has definitely gotten better. That and you actually get to keep the games after your subscription lapses, which is pretty nice.

The almost insane party system is by far my least favorite part of the interface. I'm really loving the Twitter approach to the friends list though, it's nice not having your inbox spammed with friend invites and it's nice to be able to slip into MP matches with some of the Game Journalists I follow.
Anyways, no update is a bad update.
I have a friend who started complaining about the inaccuracies of the UNSC ships in Halo 4, apparently they were to old to be in use escorting something like the Infinity. Which definitely makes sense, but that's the kind of level of detail and knowledge I think they're shooting for.
So I guess me playing every Halo game released means I'm still ridiculously under equipped. Best of luck Septic, as someone said above you'll probably need it!
