Digital content made all the difference there. It's different when you have hundreds of XBLA or PSN games that without some form of compatibility are lost into the abyss.
BC was never about boosting sales, it's a good non-scumbag move. It's a feature the console has that is being improved and expanded upon, I don't understand the desire to disparage it.

The difference with this is that some of us have a lot of digital games from XBLA or PSN. It's really nice that I don't need to repurchase Sonic the Hedgehog, Symphony of the Night or GunStar Heroes. Every week there is a new game or two available for me to download or throw a disc in and play, no matter how you slice it that's a good thing.

The Order was short, the story was infinitely stupid and the gameplay/"boss" fights were laughable, the "stealth" sections were braindead boring and simple, and it offered no reason to replay it.

People need to understand 78 is a perfectly respectable score, nope it's not 90+avg but few games truly deserve to sit in that range anyways. It's hardly an indictment of the games quality at 78.
Both of them are sequels, they aren't setting any standards for anything, they're going to ride the status quo into the ground. Uncharted 4 is obviously going to be the superior product nothing from ND in the past has made me think otherwise. Koalition have put together a remake of a UE3 title from 2006.
They'll both be fine, but could we stop pretending a new Uncharted 4 or Gears 4 is going to be this transcendent experience? It's kinda sad.

So in this one is Kratos just angrier? Are the quick time events quick timey-er? I really enjoyed GoW1-3, but boy with Ascension did I ever realize that I was over that specific brand of spectacle. Just like GeOW Judgment, in a very short time it demonstrated why that series needed to either go dormant or die. A GoW4 to me would be like the Gears4 announcement, a boring announcement that just highlights the wheel spinning First Parties are doing.
