You aren't the only one who stuck true to the boycott, I have to admit I was extremely disappointed when I saw how many people picked up this pile of crap (MW2) for the PC. I borrowed MW2 for the 360 and the PS3, I felt I needed to play the game before I could speak on it.
-Maps...are bad, if not terrible.
-Weapons...are bad (Dual wielding and a lot of the RPG type weapons don't really need to be in the game, where are the vehicles?)
-Perks...are just pl...
I wouldn't really compare CS to BC2, if anything be angry with the kids who think CoD is on par with CS skill wise.
Console online gaming is the anti competition, the inclusion of sticky aim renders any talk of "competitive" console gaming moot.
There are plenty of lap boards available, when I use my PC on my television I just set up some Dinner trays and pull up a chair. You simply do not understand PC gaming as much as you tell me otherwise, if you played PC games a few years ago I'm really happy for you, but so did I as well as the consoles. You needs to understand there are peopl...
Keep knocking the price of your original "high end" product down, and simply release a dual GPU for the 600+ segment. It makes upgrading the video card a much easier experience.
2900 pro to a 4870 was PAINLESS.
The sooner we all realize that the controllers still don't come anywhere near the mouse and keyboard set up for: Speed and precision we'll be better off. No controller is better, if you care to argue it download Xpadder then load up some Counter Strike 1.6...lemme know how it goes.
Comfort is subjective, shut up about it. I find my hands cramp with all controllers eventually and long periods at the keyboard can cause hand cramping. Argue about something worth while.
When the PS3 is running games at a higher res then I did in 1999.
It look's better then anything on the HTPC3 or HTPC 360, deal with it.
Other then being involved with putting the game together I don't see the connection.
People spending 200-400 dollars on outdated hardware bothers me but you don't see me whining about it. It's their money, 400 dollars isn't a lot to everyone.
There have been plenty of games with peek and lean FAR before Killzone 2. Hell there have been games with peek and lean FAR before Killzone 1 was even on paper.
His subject line is Killzone 2 was first and it wasn't not even by a longshot.
Are you really that delusional? Killzone 2? REALLY!? Your second option is SOCOM? How out of touch are you?
Seriously...how little you people know about ACTUAL PC game sales. I guess it's easy to pretend that the 360, PSP and DS aren't pirated all to hell and back. I also don't care that 360 numbers are apparently "lower" you have no idea how many copies are made for each download.
It's also really easy to pretend that Steam doesn't have more registered members then XBL or PSN, and unit sales definitely haven't increased by over 100% every year. There's a market, just give us...
If you knew anything about Crysis' sales and all the digital sales perhaps you wouldn't say such stupid things. Let me know when Uncharted 2 catches up.
Real native 1080P on my PC.
720P on the console.
No matter how you slice it the PC version ALWAYS looks better.
Mmm and suffer through Uncharted 2's poor foliage...no thanks.
I've been saying this for ages, I played Half life at a higher res then most console games released today. That was 1998 people.
People who only play console's just do not understand, none of them seem willing to take the time to learn either. It's sad. What make's that worse is the disproportionate number of console only gamers who talk about the PC platform and it's games like they know.
Someone tried to tell me that MAG is latency/LAG free at 256 players. I lol'd....
@3.2
Then you should all be dancing around a PC right now because both the 360 and PS3 are years behind.
Why people think DLC is a good thing is beyond me. Oh hey, lets get charged 10 dollars for maps or a Quest pack...VALUE!
Things like native resolution, Upscaling and Anti Aliasing aren't part of your average console only gamers vocabulary. It only makes sense that console gamers would know more about this, I mean this isn't the first generation where 480i/p wasn't the standard or anything.
Keep talking to PC gamers like they don't know what they're talking about...it's lolzy.
@3.2
Go back and play it, it hasn't aged well. At least Myth is still playable.
Disagrees and nothing said?
Take into consideration everything you listed isn't a REQUIRED update and suddenly you look like a fool.
PC's do not need to be updated every time new tech is released, I built my girlfriend a rig on a Asus P7P55D Pro, Core i5 750, 4gb Corsair Dominator memory and a Radeon 4870. Not ancient but not the latest fastest parts either, even though it's not bleeding edge it still runs games just fine. USB 3.0 coming out doesn't suddenly change that, and it's only obsolete if you look a...
