First. Wouldn't it be amazing if Square actually made a GOOD action game?
FPS's should never be considered for Game of the Year. What is this, 1997? Seriously, that was when Goldeneye came out. Here we are playing the same game twelve years later, only prettier. That's not to say there haven't been terrific FPS games, but the genre allows for very little innovation sadly.
They've canceled the Pokemon series. Nintendo will spend the money that would have went toward development of these games toward Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Starfox, and other games worth my time. Also, you will all buy these games instead happily. If only, right?
Obviously, some people don't appreciate old-school gaming. Remember how great Mega Man 9 was? Hmmm? Now, if only Square would make a sequel to FF6 in this style. Make a new 100 hour sequel to that game and I'll never ask Square for anything again!
It's all part of the vast Nintendo conspiracy!
Anyone remember when Glacier sold his mask to Kaz Hayashi? No?
I'm sure Reggie knew the answer to his question before he even asked. He was just posturing.
Kojima is a freaking genius. I have faith that whatever this game is, it will be awesome.
Ha! I've thought about this before, but this really puts it in perspective. Mario, however, would never wear that do!
How is this news? Of course Batman doesn't kill. Doesn't anybody remember DC vs. MK? Remember how the DC superheroes didn't kill?
I'd rather have a physical copy of FF4: The After for the DS, but I'll take it in any shape or form. That will be the first game I download from the Wii Store.
I think that if you are trying to tout the quality of Halo Wars as a spin-off title, Mario Kart is the wrong title to compare to based on the absolute quality of the Kart Series. That series has been great since the SNES. Another thing, I'm pretty sure that some people were misinformed on Halo Wars being an RTS. I know some people that don't do any homework on games and buy on impulse due to covers and/or name recognition. If the game were "Halo Real Time Strategy Not First Person Sh...
The US Army has to have recruiters out recruiting. With no military, we as a country are no more. Why are people upset that the military wants to sign people up? Give me a break. Anyone foolish enough to sign up for the military and not know what it is that the military does such as wars gets no sympathy from me.
I stopped reading ths when I read "Up-Conversation Really Works." Really, IGN? Just what is "Up-Conversation?" If you can't spell it, don't wright about it. I can't believe that such an obvious spelling error was made on what used to be a respectable site. Articles like this really damage the IGN's credibility.
This guy who wrote this rebuttal said that Final Fantasy VI had no business on this list. Really? That invalidated his whole article to me.
I didn't understand Microsoft closing Ensemble before Halo Wars even came out. The studio had no chance at redemption. Anyway, good news here. I don't have an XBOX, but I absolutely love the Age series. I played the hell out of Age of Mythology. I still pick it up and did in fact play a scenario from the campaign a couple days ago.
I guess being compared to Rush Limbaugh is supposed to be insulting? I'm glad Sony fans weren't being compared to Al Franken. Now that would be insulting.
This game holds a lot of promise. I've been following this one for a while now, and hopefully the extra year of gestation has done this game some good. Everything I've seen up to this point looks really, really good. I agree with the demo thing. I want a demo.
To quote Dr. Phil, "That's a load of crap!"
Nice thought, but Seph wouldn't be caught dead in that outfit. Also, why would they change his trademark sword?
