I played the first LBP, I liked it, but I just did the modes the game offered.
I remember seeing renders of what this generation should look like, even back in 2005 we saw "CGI" graphics of what games were going to look like, we still haven't seen that.
I know I'm not in a hurry for a new console, to be honest...new consoles lack games for the first year or so, then it takes companies years after that to tap into what the consoles truly have to offer, then when people are finally taking advantage of these consoles...new ones come out.... ...

What an idiotic statement, it's clear that they care what the competitors do. Obviously the competition is selling 20+ million copies of their games each year and you guys are selling 5 million. Trying to take on the big boys, you better bring your A game, because it's going to take a lot more then talk to even put a dent in the COD franchise.
look's nice. I like the fact that Zelda and Mario Brothers games have a longer development time, that way you know they are going to be amazing.
I was unsure as to if I was going to buy this game, the fact that the PS3 fanboys are out in force made up my mind. I'm going to buy it! Anything the PS3 fanboys say "Look stupid" or "bad" means there actually jealous.
I thought this game had an interesting concept, could always use more Kinect titles in my library.
Not sure why these people are arguing, but it would make sense to have it on the Xbox 360 for certain, would love to see part 1 & 2 updated and released before a part 3 is released though, it's been years since I last played.
Look, it's like this, people may dislike the COD games a bit, but the bottom line is no other FPS game plays like them, they have some minor issues, but overall it's a solid online experience.
No COD game has scored poorly or sold poorly. I haven't hated a single one, I strongly disliked MW2, but Black Ops brought me back around and I'm looking forward to finishing off the MW story.

EA actually went and did this after the success of ESPN NFL 2K5. No sports game should cost full price every year. ESPN 2K Sports games were only $19.99 and that cut into EA's bank. SO they ended up getting the license.
They put out the same crummy game year after year and idiots buy it. Yet these same idiots complain when Activision puts out a COD game every year. I guess I just don't get it.

Agreed, while Nintendo didn't sell a ton of Gamecubes or Nintendo 64's, they made more profit right away and at a steady rate then any of the other companies. Nintendo never loses money, also there complete stranglehold on the handheld market rakes in so much money Nintendo will never go under.
This is what companies do to stay ahead in the gaming industry. Microsoft paid attention last generation and it's paid off this generation, now Nintendo has taken note of XBL and I'm going to guess we'll see some sort of paid for Nintendo online with the next Nintendo console.

I've been saying this for years, all of this "power tapped out" or "we haven't tapped all the power" crap is just that. When developers take their time, there is no limit to what they can put out on the current consoles.
People just like to pat themselves on the back or freak out over which console they bought. Simple fact is, both the PS3 and XBox 360 are fairly close in power, it's not even a big of a difference as say the PS2 and original XB...
