Wow, I never realized PS3 had such few titles with high sales, even Uncharted 2 which everyone talks about like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread has less then 4 million in sales.
Black Ops is a solid game, not surprising to me in the least that it tops the PS3's all time sales chart.
Ugghhh, I already prepaid for the Nintendo 3DS, Dragon Age 2, Homefront and I'm really considering Fight Night....but there might be too many games coming out for me to be able to talk myself into that one..... Crysis 2 is tempting as well.....Hmmmm

P.C. versions of games sell like utter crap, check Black ops P.C. sales or anything really.
The only thing P.C. is good for is those no lifers who play WOW or something similar.

I mean if Microsoft spent Five Hundred Million on Kinect advertising, they would have no issue spending millions on keeping their second biggest franchise exclusive.
I hate P.C. gaming, it's a dead zone. I love my XBL and the party chat system. I will never P.C. game, hate keyboards and hate the mouse, hate sitting in a stupid chair, would much rather kick back in my recliner and play some console games!

Never heard of Black Isle game or anything like that, I tried to play a Final Fantasy once but couldn't get into it.
I like Fable and Mass Effect and Dragon Age, but I never got into Two Worlds, Oblivion or FF.
I'm sure there might be some decent ones out there, but as I said I haven't seen any. I'd be open to suggestions as long as it isn't super Anime style and as long as you control the interactions.
I haven't seen or heard any hype around MW3, it's not even been revealed as being maid. It could be that prequel featuring Ghost is in production.
COD4 was amazing, then IW tried way too hard to appeal to everyone, even the Halo type of fans with the duel wielding and all that. What really made MW2 fail for me was the One Man Army perk, which led to Noob Tubes out the butt. Also the death streaks were so not needed.

I just cant get into them now, I mean I own some, like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and the like but I haven't played them even. Without a proper story and the ability to choose your path and answers to questions, I just cant get into it.

Uhh Gears has been exclusive on the Xbox 360 since 2006. I seriously don't see that changing. In fact I bet Epic is already working on the next installment. I don't think Microsoft would risk losing their 2nd best franchise. They have the money to keep it and will do so.

As long as they keep the RPG elements in, I think it'll only add more people to their games. I loved DA1, but the demo for DA2 was a million times better IMHO.
I for some reason cannot stand RPG's with the random events ect.... I guess those are JRPG's? I cant stand those, I haven't found other RPG's like the ones Bioware makes, where you decide the outcome and have choices to make in the dialog, this is what separates them for me anyway.
BioWare makes the best RPG's in the business. After playing through such amazing titles as KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Dragon Age, I feel like I cant go back to any other style of RPG.
Whatever they put out is pure gold, cant wait for DA2 and possibly DA3.
I said this earlier, not every year is going to have that stellar lineup of first party games, personally I like around 4-6 First party games because I buy so many multiplatform titles.
I also think we'll see at least a few games for this year and they will set the stage for a banner year with games and probably a new console next year.

Your right, but clearly COD is doing something right to earn such high sales, also check the scores for the game, it scored really, really well.
So I guess high sales, plus great scores is some kind of indication of quality of a game.
