the single worst obstacle in multiplat development, thanks to M$ shortsighted decision to grab market share
i must admit, that sentence literally made me laugh-out-loud ^^
no you're not :p
Motion control is still viewed as a gimmick to most hardcore gamers and it's going to be difficult to change that perspective anytime soon.
I'll be lying if i say i'll buy Arc day one...unless of course they announce that it will be utilized in Demon's Souls 2...
as awesome as they look, screenshots don't do GOW3 justice. The game looks amazing while running, it's literally like a moving art piece
man this is going to be so awesome
great read, 1 more week to go :)
Sequels that improved immensely from the first game:
UC1 -> UC2
KZ1 -> KZ2
GOW -> GOW2
AC1 -> AC2
DarkCloud -> DarkCloud2
This is especially true for new IPs that shows promise - Demon's Souls,inFamous,MAG,Deadspace,B lazblue,Legend of Dragoon...etc...
But whatever it is, Sony's first party development never fails to excite
but maybe it was due to the multi-language issue? It could be a reason for the delays... :/
but what i'm really curious about is the convenient fact that the game only opens up in the final third (3rd DVD) of the game.
Was it an amazing coincidence that saved the 360 version from the 'SO4 situation' or was it planned all along?
No one here truly believes that the porting only took 1 year right?
perhaps the M$ exclusive advertisement deal have something to do with it?
It would have tilted the sales even more towards the PS3 version had they announced it weeks earlier
don't let me catch you at future comparison articles then. It's pointless since your eyes aren't good enough to detect the differences anyway.
And no, the difference will be apparent to anyone with a working set of eyes if they had bothered to look.
That is assuming, of course, that you have viewed it in the original HD resolution.
In the event that you didn't, i'll take back my words - you are not blind...just stupid.
it's not the score range Edge uses that people have issues with, it's their insane inconsistency. They clearly use a different yardstick when reviewing Halo games don't you agree?
glad to see they enjoyed it
while they do score games slightly higher on average, it's pretty good source for reviews. Unlike most US/UK based sites, they don't use some insane yardstick to gauge PS3 games and MOST importantly, they have been very consistent.
i'm sure there must be a reason why numbers are assigned when rating stuff. Maybe things have changed this gen, but numbers were once used to gauge the overall competence of a certain game against another, not like how it is used now - to pat everyone's back and saying how equally good everyone is
the only ones who pretend not to know about GT's bias are 360 fanboys
definitely Demon's Souls 2
the sales have been pretty good so far honestly, many expected HR to struggle to reach to 1 million sales, but it's looking to pass the milestone comfortably based on current trends
whatever it is - DON'T touch the ps3 version please...don't slaughter the game by making the first two-third portion a linear experience and only opening it up during the last disc for the 360.
