The widespread piracy might have done some damage but it is still a very capable handheld with loads of great features.
Top 5 PSP games i'm anticipating:
KH Birth by Sleep
Ushiro
FF13 Agito
ParasiteEve:3rd Birthday
ModnationRacers PSP
unless it is implemented intelligently to reward teamwork, it's a dumb concept that only serve to encourage camping and selfish plays.
The controls are fine and probably the last thing that needs fixing. Would love to see the introduction of vehicles and some environmental damage. Co-op is an obvious addition, not so sure about split screen though
4 player splitscreen
2 player splitscreen online
Custom soundtracks
User generated content(track,avatar,kart)
UFG should be proud of themselves, this game is set to become the ultimate kart racer this gen
I really doubt it will come anywhere close to KZ2, but using the PS3 as lead platform is good news in any case.
Wonder if they are using that AA technique in GOW3
that was a pretty tough move to pull off perfectly :p
this is by far the best one yet
i doubt a new LoD will be very profitable(i talking about JRPGs in general) but it seems like something Sony would do.
I don't want to see Sony taking losses for the fans, but i really love to see a LoD sequel someday.
the georama feature is ingenious and i'm excited to see how wkc2 will improve on it. there's lots of potential in the online segment.
When buying new IPs, i'm far more interested in the new ideas brought to the table than the flaws. That's what the sequel is for - to iron out the flaws and polish the experience.
Unfortunately, the majority of reviewers spent little time with the game(FF13 effect) and chose to focus on its flaws.
a 3D horror game where you use the Move as a torchlight/camera (as shown in the video) as you investigate and interact with the world around you.
3D and the horror genre - a match made in heaven. Combined with a unique control scheme, it could be the killer app Sony's looking for
wish they had time to implement it in Heavy Rain. Such a shame, it could have been a wonderful showcase of the technology. Maybe QD's next project will be revolve around Move?
Really cool stuff being shown here and can you imagine doing all that in true 3D?
I was crazy about RTS a few years back...now i have a reason to be excited again :)
but it will have to wait till i finish both WKC and FF13. Speaking of WKC, i bought it with GOW3 a few days back and i'm enjoying every minute of it. Very underrated jrpg with nice and detailed graphics. Also drives home the fact that towns helps in pacing,i got exhausted with FF13 after blazing through chapter 10.
Anyway here's hoping that RoF surprises me the same way, the first 20hrs of FF13 was so depressing.
that no MP = no buy attitude is the reason why we are seeing nothing but an endless wave of repetive online shooters these days.I'm glad 550k gamers chose to support SMS like i did, they gave us an awesome game and i'm happy to see them get rewarded.
I know i'm one of the minority who prefers single player games but i have always felt that there is more 'value' in SP games.
Online-centric games loses its charm over time, but i would have no problem replaying GOW3 3 y...
but i'm left speechless after reading some mindblowing damage control from the likes of cez of rage.
f$%#ing unbelievable...
M$ and the media have been going all out to deceive people into believing that there is some sort of parity between the 2 versions. Disgusting i know, but it's nothing new for M$.
look...unless you don't own a HDTV, the differences are pretty depressing if you start comparing the two versions
there would have been more disc swapping involved if that was the case
i really think this should be standard for all JRPGs
sacarsm? you can never tell these days....
whatever greenturd, the bluray drive allows us to play more attractive games.
i would be severely depressed had i been forced to play FF13 in sub-HD resolution. Let's just say that i didn't buy a HDTV to watch 576p CGI.
good attempt but you were trying too hard and the result didn't turn out to be as hilarious as it should be.
The 'consult Epic for Unreals superior technology...' is overkill.
