Let games be games and movies be movies. I've seen enough horrible adaptations in my time.
You mean the emulated part that takes like one minute and a half tops to clear?
The Déjà Vu Mission won't be an emulated MGS1 segment and I'm pretty sure it'll take longer than a minute to clear. I'm not a huge fan of it either but we'll see.
I don't think you'll be able to run around in the main game with MGS1 Snake anyway.
I don't know exactly what went down with Monster Hunter on Playstation but Nintendo asked (almost begged, really) to have Final Fantasy taken away from them.
Couldn't agree more.
I agrew with Ezz2013 of course. I game on PS3, PS4 and PC and I hate the Xbox (any Xbox) but this needs to stop.
@morganfell
It wasn't any better back then but some people need to act like grownups in a world dominated by manchildren.
Game where you want to game and leave other people alone. It's not like you'll convince them their favorite console sucks by bashing it constantly.
PS fanboys, Xbox fanboys and PC m...
It's still easily accessible. Actually probably even more accessible. There are many free tools for programming (such as Eclipse) and I'm pretty sure there's a free (very stripped-down) version of Visual Studio. Plus, you have a ton of tutorials online that you didn't have back then. Today's software will also tell you where you made mistakes in your code.
Yep. It's probably never been so accessible as right now.
I pretty much completely agree with you. Though I still wish they'd bring back good old expansions instead of DLC.
Seriously! If anything I'm offended by censorship.
I'm not sure it has anything to do with being a fanboy or not. The PC version will only look better if you have good hardware (or a PC at all.)
Sure but it's still just one guy saying that. A guy who could be just some idiot who didn't even buy it and is trying to discredit the game.
Yeah I haven't played it yet but the full price is just a bad idea. It should be 39.99$ even with the upgrades.
Nope. Wii U games aren't for everyone, buddy. And they're only a fraction of the whole market. Yours isn't the only opinion that matters.
It's all a matter of preferences though. I'm an old gamer and I used to game on Nintendo consoles up until the the N64. I don't even like Zelda or Mario all that much. I'll take a good RPG or Metal Gear anytime over any Nintendo exclusive.
Edit: Super Smash Bros is awesome though.
I thought the same but we're close to March and no words yet.
Since it's open world I'd say there will be plenty of stuff to do. Enough to last you as long as an average game I assume. However, I suspect the story part will be rather short. It's still cheaper than a full game on both generations. They're trying to put in a lot of extras before release apparently. Anyway, I'm getting it either way. Don't listen to the idiots calling it a glorified demo.
It's more like ReVen is throwing a lot of nods to Metroid. It's obviously not trying to hide the fact that it's heavily inspired by it.
Since when are orcs scary in Middle Earth?
@PlayStationdominance
They may not get re-released soon but make no mistake. They will most likely end up being re-released at some point in the future... and probably also on future systems if any are coming afterwards.
Meaning a lot more stories will need to be sacrificed.
Some have got it right. The first Silent Hill movie was a good adaptation. I can't say the same about its sequel. Metal Gear Solid Philanthropy was very good for a fan-made movie. I can't really think of anything else.
