wtf? Like seriously, I just read the summary on here and I'm not going to bother reading the whole review. The summary alone has summed it up enough for me to have left me sitting here thinking 'wtf?'.
1. They mention the success of the Xbox 360.
What success? It's as successful as the PS3, but there's no mention of that.
2. They claim Resistance 2 is a flawed sequal to the disappointing 2006 original.
When was the first Resistance disappointing? It was ...
It's usually everytime there's a school shooting that video games are blamed.
Kind of reminds me of how PS2's first discs were blue bottom, but they had issues! I know this has nothing sto do with blu-spec technology, but that's what it reminds me of.
It's a shame that the story isn't good. But I honestly don't know many FPS storylines that are that great.
I swear to God I have owned like 50+ games for 360 and PS3 all together, but now I am down to 5.
I'm thinking about trading in GTA IV, but I'm kind of worried that one day I'll be wanting to just play it for the purpose of driving around and killing things.
Everytime I've traded in a GTA game I've regretted it at some point. What do you think?
From playing it at the Best Buy Gaming Convention a few weeks back the game deserves no more than a 9. I had the original Gears and it was great, but this one is not as exciting because it's the same game in many ways.
I reserved the collectors edition but can't pick it up tomorrow... shame

-Occasional glitches and framerate hiccups
The cons already should lower the score from perfect..
So.. I can already see it.. You're playing Gear of Wars 2 and suddenly OH CRAP! A GLITCH AND FRAMERATE HICCUP! WOOOOOOOOOO! THIS GAME IS PERFECT!
I miss last gen.. very few comparison articles and arguments. Also, no one cared about which system is selling better. When will this madness end?
MMORPGs also have expansion packs, which are reviewed and by then many problems are fixed through patches.

Halo 3 and COD4 were not reviewed unfairly. From my understanding they got very high reviews even with their online problems at launch. May I also add that those games had a storyline and were not online-only.

I don't understand how you can say having an iPod or Mac is trendy. Macintosh has been around for decades. It's not like they recently popped out of no where and everyone is buying them because it's the popular thing to do.
Apple also set the standard for MP3 player's with iPods and that's why they're the most popular.

Thank you. I agree 100%. You just have to feel bad for Slant 6 and Sony because some people take reviews to the heart and it's what makes them decide upon purchasing a game. Because of this the sales will be a lot less, but at the same time they'll be higher due to the headset bundle.
I'm a Socom fan, and I love this game no matter what the reviews say.
