Similar to what they did with Socom Confrontation. They reviewed it with 'impressions' at first and then a week later they give a score of 4.5 and bash it really bad.
They just need to stop making yearly renditions of the need for speed serious. After Underground I've completely lost track of the titles. Most Wanted, Carbon, Pro Street and now this Undercover.
Underground was fun and I don't think they've been good since then.
I played Halo on the easiest mode just to get through it and get the achievements, LOL, LAUGH AT ME.
It took me about 6 hours non-stop. I hated the single-player so much.
The longest games I've played with a linear storyline are MGS4 and RE4 which took me about 16 hours to complete on normal.
Ultimately, all developers and companies will do what makes them the most money. If casual gaming is what will bring in the most cash, then almost all of the developers will eventually adopt casual gaming as their main focus. One day we may see very few non-casual games for the hardcore gamer.
