I prefer a physical copy as I'm able to do with it as I please, like trade it in, sell it to a friend or let my friend borrow it or even bring it around with me.
When I download a game, like I have with a few on PSN and XBL Games of Demand, I feel as if I don't OWN the game, but merely am renting it from them.

I bought Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption on the day of their release and I played about 12 hours of Alan Wake and about 90 of Red Dead Redemption since then.
Personally, Red Dead Redemption is my GOTY so far. It's kept my attention for so long and I haven't been able to put it down, whereas with Alan Wake it was like, 'Oh, I beat it.
