rrod doesn't happen to everyone you know. At launch about 36% of the 360's were a time bomb, and it just reduced from there. Don't get me wrong, RROD is such a freaking hassle, but it doesn't happen to everyone, so don't think that every 360 owner is on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th 360.

You could be right... but im talking from my own experiences. Also I posted this comment just to see the reactions of the members of N4G. If you look at my previous posts, you'll obviously see I prefer psn a lot more.
They charge because they need money. Sony doesn't because it makes the money through the content on psn. xbl doesn't have as much variety in the content that psn has, so they have to charge... but $50 is way to much. $20 sounds more reasonable.
Paying for XBL is not a bother to me, but I wish it was a one time fee. Atleast they force online gamers to get headsets. PSN may be free, but NO ONE talks. If they do, they are probably cursing or playing music in the background.
Before you hit that disagree button, i like ps3 more than xbox 360.

The ps3 exclusives never disappoint. Neither do the 360 exclusives. Name 3 ps3 exclusives that have sucked. I thought so.
I used to love 360 because of its exclusives, until they all got boring because they were all shooters and Fable.
IN MY OPINION... the ps3 has far better single player games, and killzone 2's multiplayer beats anything on the 360.

Point #1: PS3 servers are way more lag free than XBL servers, and are far more advanced. This is why we see games like Resistance and Warhawk, which run buttery smooth with a high number of players, and huge maps.
Point #2: If your basing laggy psn servers off of COD4, your wrong. COD4 is p2p, it doesn't use psn, or xbl servers. It would be laggy on both psn and xbl, just depends on your internet connection.
Point #3(not against you): Multiplatform games work mostly...

wow, i never looked at it that way(sales and all), but first i had an xbox in 2007, then it got replaced in 2008, and then i got e74 in 2009 and finally bought an elite(i had a 20 gb before).
