The ps3 is not hard to program for. Its dev kit includes more than the xbox. Its just that developers have to make their own engines for the ps3 which takes a lot of work, because the old engines suck on the ps3.

The thing about RTS's are that they get really repetitive. The demo was a smart play by MS because people got to see how beautifully executed Halo Wars was, but people don't realize that playing the game is just like playing the demo over and over.
