In all fairness, Watch Dogs probably won't hold a candle to TLOU. I could be wrong, but I'm betting I'm not. :P
I am as well. No doubt they will up the frame rate and anti-aliasing. I made a comment about this before but I think I'll bring it up again since its relevant; wouldn't it be cool if they had a 24FPS mode so it looks just like a CGI movie? I mean just for the single player. I think that would be really cool if they did something like that, especially since TLOU is so cinematic.
If it's any consolation, a lot of indie platformers exist and Wii U has some AAA platformers as well. :)
Yeah, but sometimes it doesn't go the way you want. Tomb Raider was commercially successful and it sold a lot of copies but Square still lost money from it in spite of all of that. It's stuff like that that financially forces publishers to do same-y things with their game design in order to save money.
I like announcements about announcements. It means there are announcements coming. :O
Best news ever that day. Hopefully we'll get more games like Bravely Default from Square in future. :)
Actually those were the smaller cohort variants. I think King Kihunter is a boss stage hazard like the yellow devil.
I hope both Chrom and Ike are in it. :)
To be fair they probably wanted to get their say on the news as well. A LOT of sites and gamers are talking about this.
Yeah with X1 that's very true. Not to mention lame. In my own case, I don't think I could ever consciously buy one unless it did not have Kinect and was $300 or less. So I'm not going to pick one up right now. And it's not like I'm a hater, I loved Titanfall! My user review of it is still up lol.
The entire Metal Gear series is crazy and pure camp. This is the same series that suggests that American politics is a ruse and the real rulers of the country is a dedicated AI housing the personalities of twelve dead guys. In Metal Gear Rising Raiden flips a Metal Gear Ray on its side with his bare hands. Also Silicon Knights did not do anything with the game Kojima didn't when not including the new cutscenes. Psycho Mantis reading your memory card is basically unchanged.
Eh, to each their own. I really disliked DmC. The story was bad and the gameplay was child's play compared to DMC3 and 4.
This is meant to come to Wii U. I think the devs emphasized that confirmation. Correct me if I'm wrong though lol.
To see it endorsed by a name as huge as Facebook is pretty telling. I'm guessing Google may do the same thing with their glasses brand in the future, if not an outright VR visor. What's your take on VR?
Give it time.
Often Kickstarter project videos contain their raw engine work. Some only have concept art and I think those are the ones that doom themselves to failure. If you have an engine that seems to run and looks like it could be a fun game if fleshed out, then you have a much bigger chance of success. I think the only real exception is Mighty No. 9. Slap Inafune's name on it and you're good to go.
Yes, agreed on that as well. This generation cannot be considered "next-gen" since all three systems are on the market. We are now in current gen.
No doubt the Wii U version will have unique features that give it some sort of edge. I think Nintendo will manage to provide enough incentive to own both versions as oppose to just one. Also tourney fans will prefer the HD version, that's for sure.
It could look better, I think. But I do agree that it looks quite nice regardless.
Thumbs up! Let's hope so. To be able to trade my copy on in for the PS4 version to make it stupid cheap would be awesome. :)
