I wanted to get one this year, but if I get the Wii U first (which right now is the plan) it will have to wait until next year. Sigh. :(

That seems like wishful thinking. Spacing out updates into smaller increments is a lot smarter than cramming them all into one big update due to bandwidth and convenience for people downloading and installing the update.
Yup! It absolutely is. That's why SimCity was a total ripoff. People paid a lot of money for a loading screen that crashed and EA refused to refund them. Battlefield 4 was also stupidly broken and buggy. But people bought it anyway. :/

Fortunately I already want to get The Wolf Among Us. As for Watch Dogs, I'm waiting to see what everyone thinks of it. I'll probably rent it either way, never had too much interest in that one.

I like it when games preach themes about homosexuality, racism and general human rights issues. I think it sinks in with a lot of young minds and gets them thinking about how we as a species should treat each other. And you're right, Bioware is very forward thinking in this regard.

At that point it would be all up to stats and skill and that isn't very interesting for a racing game that isn't very fast. Items are what make the series unique in the racing genre.

Goldeneye is one of those gems I didn't get to play a whole lot of, but the few times I did play were intensely fun. Glad to see a Source remake instead of the Cod-make. Blegh!
