Why even have the friends you don't want to be alerted for?
Well Vegeta, now you're getting it! You can stop blowing up now. :P
The interface and architecture is totally new. It wouldn't surprise me if the OS was made from the ground up as well.
Halo has more of a legacy than Gears. But if they do a remastered collection that wouldn't be so bad.
That wouldn't be the worst deal. Mass Effect has some screwy DLC attached to it, so it actually would be pretty nice to get a version of the game with it all isolated onto the disc.
Two remasters is not really "many" for PS4...
That's a good point. Sony's repertoire of HD remasters is much, much higher. Wonder why the author only targeted Xbox One...
Halo 2 Anniversary is more of a remake though. It's not going to be a game from last year with slightly better graphics. Remakes like that tend to get a huge overhaul visually. Halo Anniversary was quite beautiful on 360 and I think Halo 2 will be even more so.
If MGS wasn't such a cash cow, they'd axe that too. I feel bad for Kojima. He'll never get to do anything else at this rate.
And getting Vita fans' hopes up is a better business strategy? Come on, man.
Apparently someone didn't get the memo that these were for PSP and not Vita. Dumb idea if you ask me.
Comedy gold, I say. :P
Hear, hear. Konami was making bad choices throughout the past couple of years. And those stupid decisions are going to bite them right where it hurts if they don't watch their step with consumers.
Baby or not this game looks terrifying as heck. I don't think I CAN play it lol. I'd piss myself.
^this. They're there for those that want them. Nothing more.
These ports are on Xbox One too. Granted One has more exclusives right now, but that's subject to change.
Actually these are like GotY Editions, but with better graphics. People never really attacked the GotY editions, so it's strange to see people up in arms against these remasters.
@BattleAxe There are fair reasons for both sides of the argument. But it boils down to wanting or not wanting something. If you didn't play it there is incentive to getting it on the PS4 you already own. If you already played the PS3 version (like moi) there is less incentive. Each person's perspective is unique.
Nothing's holding back next gen. The remasters are being done by small teams separately from the bigger projects.
That has more to do with game development, I think. Some of the games that have come out at 720p or 900p could be higher with more development time and effort.
