@ UCForce:: Sledgehammer wanted to make a WW2 game because they made Advanced Warfare & they thought they made a cool game (they did imo) but the fickle COD community hated AW so much, Sledgehammer felt the best idea for the next game was to take the franchise back to its roots... hence the WW2 theme.
i guarantee if Advanced Warfare was successful they'd be making Advanced Warfare 2. they're only going back to WW2 because the COD community whined & complaine...
@ UCForce: COD: WWII only exists because of the negative reception to Ghosts, Advanced Warfare & subsequently Infinite Warfare. they ignored the fans requests at first but that decision lost them a lot of money, so from there they changed course... Activision don't deserve any additional "pats on the back" for that.

Infinite Warfare was down 50% in sales from Black Ops 3. they're a business, so of course they would listen to the fans AFTER it affects their bottom line. so NO they don't deserve ANY credit.
