Microsoft needs to pull out the big guns. They really need to show off some new big AAA IPs that are exclusive to xbox one to give us a reason to own it. Right now I see no reason to buy an xbox one when I already have the more powerful ps4 and I was a ps3/360 owner. I was having a hard time justifying a 60 dollar purchase on a game lacking multiplayer but after seeing some footage and getting a taste of the story it looks like they really went all out on the single player. The story looks promising and the gameplay looks and feels like an oldschool fps with a touch of modern flair. Now to see if I can squeeze out some extra cash this week.

I thought one of the reasons people play this game was because of the difficulty. Why would u take such a challenging and rewarding game and turn it into this? This completely ruins the whole reason dark souls is appealing in the first place. Grow the fack up people. Cheating was cool back in the 90s when you showed it off to ur friends. I agree for the most part. A lot of games nowadays seem to think gamers are idiots and can't figure out left from right. I think the games atmosphere more than makes up for the lesser quality graphics. The world of Drangleic has me so sucked in, every time I enter a new area I have to stop and admire the surroundings. This and the music just make it so immersive.

I won't believe it until it's in my hands. From reading a few recent articles they've mentioned it being a HUGE undertaking to remake this game but why is it such a huge undertaking? With a good size team it shouldn't be much of a problem to upgrade the character models and make the backgrounds actually 3d.
