Very excited for this. I'm glad they're sticking to its roots and not turning it into call of duty with 2 weapon limit, regenerating health, and on rails. A game like Doom cannot copy what modern fps has become. They really look like they're doing the game justice.
I'm curious how the multiplayer is going to play using thumbsticks. Arena shooters of old relied heavily on precise aiming and movement as there was no aim assist and you really had to aim and snap ...
Just make dragons dogma 2 and I'll be happy
But it very much is a half-baked experience
Yes, but please, no corridors
I'd probably say yes if we actually saw some meaningful advances in gameplay and weren't given the same rehashed game from last year with new maps and guns. I get it though, business is business, and this game sells so why mess with a proven formula. But I think we can all agree people are slowly getting burned out and eventually Acticash will be forced to make some changes, but until we see a drastic decline in sales, this will never happen.
Blops3 looks to be the most robust...
I'd be surprised if they didn't make a sequel. The game was massively successful and was raved about. We know From likes to make sequels anyway as Dark Souls (starting with demons souls) is getting a consistent flow of them.
I think Treyarch are the only good CoD developers of the three which I never thought I'd ever say during my love of Infinity Wards early CoD games. Treyarch look to finally make CoD interesting again by at least taking the CoD formula and advancing with it. The BO3 beta definitely felt like a CoD game but just had a better feel and much quicker gameplay. Treyarch appear to have at least put more effort into this years iteration with a plethora of modes including a coop campaign.
Loved this game. Beat it on normal but never tried it on the higher difficulties. I may go back to it just to experience how hard it can be. I enjoy a challenge.
So they're openly admitting that sonic games of the last decade have sucked and have known they've sucked but they still continued to release shitty game after shitty game. Really I don't think sega cares weather these games suck or not as long as they have the little blue hedgehog on the cover with sonic in the title they know they'll at least sell a minimal amount to kids to break even. Sonic generations was the only decent sonic game in a long long time and should base any ...
I don't mind changing my strategy a bit I get bored kiting them around in circles anyway. Now if we could use fortifications that actually did something in later rounds I'd be all for that.
Finally! Can't believe checkpoints weren't in there to begin with. Really like the dynamic power ups too!
Cannot wait for this. I'm looking forward to this more than any other mode in Black Ops III. This will be the best zombie experience yet!
Play the game and make your own decision. It's really sad how much a score (opinion) effects people so much. The game is getting mostly 8's, 9's, and 10's, but I've played plenty of high rated games I've hated as well as low rated gems I loved. It's all a matter of different tastes and opinions. Play it and either love it or hate it
Quake 3 arena was the shit back in the day. You really felt every kill you managed took skill and required a lot of practice to master how to move and predict your shots. Sadly shooters nowadays cater too much to casual players and I don't see a straight up q3a style game ever existing again. They'll most likely add modernized features such as aim assist and health regen and the game will probably be slower. I really hope I'm wrong and they make this game competitive and stick to ...
FromSoftware has proved that games can still be both difficult and fun at the same time. They simply found the right balance between the difficulty and not making the game overly tedious and punishing. Their games have something magical about them that makes you actually WANT to overcome these challenges and keep pushing forward despite getting your ass handed to you. Their games are the few that still excite me as a gamer.
So now will they finally clean up the damn hacking that's rampant on consoles? I haven't been able to join a single game that doesn't have someone running around with a 10 million damage weapon. If they want legit leaderboards that season provides they'll have no choice but to put the hammer on these people.
All I can say is, Finally. Bring on season 4!
I'm sure they are feeling the pressure developing a remake to this iconic game. The fear of alienating fans by making too many changes but at the same time appealing to the modern gaming market will be quite a challenge. I'm sure they'll find the right balance as to properly please everyone but I'm sure some of the changes will still upset longtime fans.
Are those even sales? Lol
I have a wii u
