Yeah, the whole NSA and PRISM thing has to effect Microsoft's Kinect.
They're in a bad place right now. Their device is the ultimate spying device. It sound, video, heart rate, recognition and emotions. Look at how much flak ISPs and sites like Facebook and Google are getting.
I can only imagine how hard this will hit Microsoft with their all-seeing, all-knowing Kinect.
Well, all these IPs had to happen. It is the start of a new generation. We will see plenty of new IPs but eventually, Watch Dogs 3 would make it's way.
I'm not saying there wont be new IPs, there will be but there will also be more of what we've been experiencing.
A score, grade or rating is subjective, I think. Everybody sees the grade in their own way. I think a summary of the experience or just discussing the game in general can give you a better idea. You can tell if it's a negative or positive review just by reading it.
Either way, the game is awesome. As for the ending, it wasn't the one I was hoping for while playing the entire time but I definitely like the direction they took it in.
Yeah, I know Sony can do it too. The reason, I think, he mentions it in the article is because Microsoft is pushing it as one of their pillars.
Cloud computing in under "advantages" at Microsoft and for Sony, its under "expected". Microsoft is highlighting the fact that they utilize the cloud while Sony has been doing it all along.
It's really easy to be cynical and you can pretty much kill anything with cynicism.
I mean, I live in the Middle East, which will probably never be supported by Xbox Live. All of the "benefits" that come with the Xbox One, I probably won't ever be able to enjoy. With the slowest internet speeds in the world, I wont enjoy the cloud either.Netflix? Redbox? Live TV? Will never happen for me.
However, I can see the benefits they're offering....
One of the most captivating games I've played. The ending totally threw me off but I absolutely loved it.
So, basically he's saying that Sony will dominate on release. It probably will.
Seeing how the Xbox One is somewhat relevant to the "casual" user, be it movies, music, tv or games. They will catch up.
Just wait for the mainstream culture to catch on..
No, Sony will capitalize on the digital drive, its just not as focused on it as Microsoft is.
Well, until then..
GREATNESS AWAITS
The Xbox One is always on, its on standby when you're not using it. Why wouldn't the Kinect function in the same way? I'm pretty sure you can deactive it to a degree but I'm more sure that it will always be running too.
I know I'm probably sounding like a deranged, paranoid, conspiracy theorists but the government uses platforms like facebook and twitter all the time. Why wouldn't they use this?
I sure hope so but if we could deactivate it, Don't you think Microsoft would've made that point clearly? That's what is really pushing this. Same applies to all the other controversial stuff.
They seem to be treating it the same way they treat the always online questions, with pettifogged answers and vague replies.
Looking forward to it. :D
I'm pretty sure the prices will drop. We see digital downloads now for $60 but I think that is just so they can match retail price. They cannot make it substantially cheaper but I think once its 100% digital, games will definitely be cheaper.
Thanks Kuma. Honestly, I rely on digital downloads even though my internet connection is utter crap. I still get my games on day one, error-less and only a few hours late(due to my internet)
Glad to hear that.
I agree dude. Let's just hope they don't compromise too much.
I didnt care for the single player in bf3 but this one looks a lot more intact. The multiplayer will always outshine it though.
Yeah, its a really cool feature. I dont think any platform but PC can do this game justice.
Agreed.
They don't proactively watch us one by one. However, if the government requests some data, maybe in general or maybe about a specific player, Microsoft can provide.
This whole big brother is spiralling out of control, Microsoft's new stance seems to be in the middle of it.
