He kinda annoys me at times but he is a good choice. One of the few persons at xbox who seems to have genuine passion for gaming.

I wasn't too thrilled with the Indie direction at first, but i've really started to enjoy a lot of these titles. having spelunky and fez on the go is awesome.
EOFY definitely explains the timing, but i've not seen this kind of scale to layoffs in quite a while. A number of people have mentioned it actually, and i didn't think it was worth repeating.

Fair enough points but one thing to note is that a lot of 1st party games have not sold well. Its a fact. And if given to opportunity to not lose money, i would take it.
They are not going to close all their studios, but with an influx of games from devs that are new to the console platform as well as a strong hardware start, they simply may not need to take as many risks as they did last gen.

No argument about quality, my friend. Just about relative value. i still enjoy the games that i do own, so i think i'll hang on to it for a while
my point is that the market has changed considerably since launch.
With PSN and steam aggressively pricing software, i find myself caring less tbh.
I haven't bought a game for my 3ds in a long time. Its very hard to shell out $40 for the games that i care about on that system. i wish Nintendo well, but i think i'm out.

Separate current gen and last gen games
Well, on the flip side, these glasses have been a god send as far as i'm concerned. I used to suffer eye twitching and other problems without them.
Use them everyday. You can usually find them for $30-40 on woot at least once a month.
