you have a point there. even Nintendo are seeing a decline in handheld sales. maybe the market for these systems are just shrinking to the point of non-sustainability as far as traditional support is concerned. Still, a major title every quarter is a reasonable request (IMO at least).
Shame though, the vita is my favorite piece of gaming hardware ever. I'm enjoying the indies, just hate seeing all that wasted potential.

The only small stain on their record for me is the vita support. They need to show SOME commitment to AAA games on the platform.
Aside from that, they have all the right moves.

Yeah, i'm hoping for that as well. The sly collection is really cheap on ps3 now anyway ($15 on amazon), they don't have much to lose by making it cross-buy.

Thanks man. I try to mix it up to appeal to different tastes. Personally, i like the absurdism more because there is more creativity to it. And i prefer the longer story-like jokes as well, but not everyone will read an entire post of those.
Also, a lot of people like satire, especially with it being such a popular style on tv and even withing the gaming media. Personally, i'm not really that fond of it.

Unless i'm mistaken, in funding a kickstarter, you are not guaranteed the game nor have you any guarantee as to the quality of the game.
By supporting this or any kickstarter, you are assuming the risks of an investor without the benefits. I would much rather have equity in the game and have the company accountable rather than a free copy (unfortunately, crowd investing is illegal)
I guess you can consider it to be an extreme...
Harmonix is attempting to make a game without any risk to them. They are trying to pass the risk of the project unto the consumer/backer and still make a profit while passing on no benefit to the backers if the project is successful.
If this succeeds, that all of a sudden, there will be a long list of franchises from major companies that will suddenly be "not worth the risk"
we have to draw the line somewhere. Kickstarter is the wet dream of capital...
It was an incredible game.
The Narration is a bit annoying at times especially with Picarina. But its meant for kids so you have to factor that in.
The music was incredible, especially in the wild west stages.
