They don't really drop console prices , but they have to if the bring out a $100 more Oled then $550 dollars is a tough sell.
You don't buy a inflated priced switch for 3rd party games. You do it for the first party content. So it's up you. If you own a pc or other consoles stick to First part on the switch 2. If not then you will have to decide. Get less good looking 3rd party games or wait for next gen. I skipped ps5 and own a ps4 so anything is an upgrade. Pretty expensive and the games will be even more.

Hope thats the case. Places with high import duties and weak currencies won't buy a thing all games are already $70 here so I'm a bit worried. If nobody buys new there is no second hand market and the system dies.
If its more than $10 that would be sad. I have read somewhere $10 if its performance and $20 if its content like kirby

Hope not but with Nintendo you never know. So if you buy a still $70 switch game as a new switch 2 owner and then need to pay another $10 that would start to bring games close to a 1/4 of the rumoured switch 2 price which is absurd.
