People become sick of the usual rinse and repeat. They would jump on anything new especially if it gets streamed. You get your new kid on the block and people gravitate to it. People are hungry for the new. From Pal world to this , enshrouded, Finals And then the usual Call of duty , fortnite mindcraft.

Im playing 3 as my first one and I got that same feeling. Enjoying the variety and combat but im not into the story...too confusing.
Nope they first need to make savage starlight and have timetravel , let a major timeline crash happen and erase TLOU2's timeline or that one part and make a quarter of 3 a retelling of what really happened to J. Perfect start for 3
