2025 taught us we need to learn Japanese to be able to game affordability. Also it shows that companies are able to either subsidise or cheapen consoles buts decides to do so only to a minority. They know you will pay as you have been gaming your whole life.
If it sells a little bit less than 1 million copies at $70 and you start breaking even and then it's all profit. Ghost 1 sold well so even if this sells half of that they are in business. People are disappointed in the company so we will see if their anger affects their inner gamer. That part that wins will determine the future of the franchise.

Will be interesting to see how peepz choose. One guy loves having the best all the time and can probably afford it. Another wants one bar performance that is the same on every system.

Fan are becoming like spoiled children unfortunately. If for some reason things don't go their way they lash at at the wrong things. It can have the opposite effect Review bombing can cause some to not buy a game as it is badly reviewed and then the company needs to layoff staff or work with a smaller budget directly affecting their next game which is Arc Raiders
I am not a Pachter fan , but I have to agree...who would have though. It used to be to sell cheaper hardware that is subsidised by First party game sales in the first few years until you can reach millions owning the console and by that time you can cheapen your hardware because the tech have been revised.
