This is running games fine, but how long did they run. 1 hour ? 5 minutes ? That is the crux. My tv runs at * means nothing compared to my tv at * after 3 hours. Did I missread?

The test is uninformative I think. Nobody games for 5 minutes. That said where else are the heat supposed to go anyway. The proof will be seen in the coming months, now everything is just rumours and articles are just based on that for clicks
For gamestop its incentive to stay afloat. For microsoft it rewarding since the mid card console will still boost numbers and thus gamesales since publishers look at that and the more casual parents wont realise that it isnt the premium console but much cheaper. Mkcrosoft will then hope that the adopters will eventually get the big brother.

It was so obvious to everyone except to Activision on what to do...they kept us waiting.
Blackflag was the first and only AC game i owned and played. It was fun but the ubi formula kinda got stale quickly. Some of the missions were really boring and predictable. I especially hated follow missions. Some of the bugs and glitches though were gold. Still wasnt a bad game. I contemplated getting the newer rpg ones but im not sure if it actually was an evolution of AC.

@Gunstar I think you misunderstood what variable clocks means. Its not the same as say phones etc. It just moves the load between the cpu and gpu powerwise to be more efficient... so instead of going 100 % all the time even when not needed, the system adjusts on the fly to give the exact power as needed by the game. Also it adds the tools to devs to decide how to apply the cpu and gpu when the one isnt needed.
