I think they will keep it exclusive, that is how you sell consoles. If they don't xbox might fail. If I were them I would wait 2 years and see before considering doing a multiplatform, if the installbase is good keep it exclusive, of not selling on more platforms rakes in the cash to buy more companies etc.
Microsoft? Getting temporary, exclusivity is a thing now.
If Sony don't up their stock it might get closer. It would be interesting if Microsoft can get games out that players want to play to see then, but we know Sony will have the games...

Im wonder if the normal everyday gamer can tell you the difference between a 5mil a d 350 mil game. It took Minecraft an experiment to change how we think of building games. It didnt cost 100 mil and to be honest it came out and inspired a whole lot of new things. I mean when and if this releases will we be able to tell its a 350 mill game or will it fade away in 2 months...
