I enjoyed LM3 well enough but honestly, I was expecting more. I want to see Nintendo get a little more ambitious with IP's like Luigi's Mansion. Expand the dev budget for a game like this and increase production value. I want to see LM expand into a true free-roaming "open world" type of game. Break away from the fixed plane level design and give Luigi the same kind of freedom Mario has in say, Odyssey.

When you're calling Scorn your "heavy hitter" you know you've screwed up.

In other news, water is wet.

Because they need it to grow at that rate so they can start making money off of it. Again, saying Game Pass is "profitable" is not the same thing as saying its turning a profit. Too many people are conflating these two terms.

LMAO. Yes, that's why I didn't have much fun with this game. Because I didn't "understand" it.

1178d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

No but in the modern era, this should not be acceptable for a AAA action/adventure game.

Empty world
Weak story
No dungeons
Uneven dialogue methods (voice acting one moment, text reading the next)
Frustrating mechanics

I could go on but the only thing impressive about that game IMO was the physics.

It was completely forgettable to me. Most overrated videogame in the history of videogames. Take out the name "Zelda" and this game is completely discarded.

Lmao! It's cute that you actually think that.

MS saying Game Pass is "profitable" is not the same thing as saying Game Pass is making a profit. That's just PR speak to appease shareholders. When they say it's profitable, all that means is the Game Pass model shows that a profit CAN be made from it once it reaches a specific number of subscribers at a specific subscription price. However that does NOT mean it's making a profit currently (and its...

The difference in graphical quality from performance to fidelity mode is way smaller than the difference in smooth frames from fidelity to performance though.

1178d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

No performance mode, no buy! Its that simple for me! Ive been gaming exclusively at 60 and 120fps since this generation started and I am NOT going back to 30! So devs, you can make the "creative" choice to only include fidelity mode but you will not get my dollars!

@Flawlessmic

That's "Xbox logic" for you. The mere fact the game is even there, constitutes a "huge success" in the eyes of Xbots.

I get what you're saying but there's just no excuse not to have this game up and running at 60fps on current gen consoles. That is VERY poor optimization on the devs part and I'm just not going to financially support that.

No 60fps, no buy. Sorry but I'm just too far down the 60fps rabbit hole to ever go back.

God yes! How could I forget that?? I hope it does make it out next year.

2023 is looking great for PS5! Spder-Man 2, Forspoken, Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade, maybe some Horizon FW DLC, plus new hardware with PSVR 2 and Dualsense Edge!

Clearly you dont understand the difference between buying a developer and buying a publisher. Tell me, what game did Sony take away from Sega or Nintendo when they bought Naughty Dog? What franchise did MS or Nintendo lose when Sony bought Media Molecule? What MS is doing or attempting to do is unprecedented, which is to purchase entire publishers and take established, existing IP's off of competing platforms in an effort to squeeze them out. This is NOT good business practice and desp...

Sony has yet to buy a publisher. If this deal goes through, MS will have now bought two! Two of which they were already getting their games anyway. Who's next? EA? Ubisoft? Take Two? This adds absolutely nothing to the industry. It only takes options away from a very large segment of the gaming community. MS can preach that kumbaya shit all they want but where's Starfield for PS5?

1194d ago 23 agree4 disagreeView comment

it has to be unanimous for it to go through.

1194d ago 10 agree5 disagreeView comment

I would rather see MS spend their billions on starting up new studios and cultivating talent internally and develop an actual gaming identity than "Hoovering" up publishers in order to keep those games away from the competiton.
