"throwing shade at Microsoft" ~ is the de facto behavior most N4G users exhibit here, like its the only rule,
instead of discussing more regarding the individual games, studios, devs, the people.
It is actually really good-looking game on PC ... give it shot if you've got the rig to run it, or else check other PC youtuber's analysis of visuals if you've got problem with Alex's. (DF only focuses on visuals not gameplay, nobody's suggesting the game's a GOTY contender)
And why won't a good effort i.e PC port be lauded (even if it's from Ubisoft)?
"Alex had an awful year of terrible PC ports" ~ no bub, the whole PC community ech...
Are there any xbox studio(s) that are capable of developing the sequel(s)?
Maybe Obsidian's writing team collaborating with Coalition's gameplay team .... but that's highly unlikely.
@-Foxtrot
The entire game wasn't leaked and hence wasn't uploaded online. The uploaded build has got few gameplay segments/snippets.
Yea I recently gave it a shot during the free 2 play Halloween period ... it ain't bad ... was pretty enjoyable.
The leak's huge with the whole roadmap, license, exclusivity, cast and everything. Even Guerilla's upcoming title name got leaked.
Sony : " Between now and December 31, 2035, Marvel cannot release or announce any X-MEN Games on console/PC/streaming, or use an X-MEN character as a competitive advantage in a game (e.g., "Play as Wolverine in Ultimate Alliance exclusively on Xbox").
X-MEN characters can appear in multi-family Marvel games (e.g.. Avengers...

not only that,
Spider-Man 3 was supposed to be a single title, but that plan has been scrapped and the new plan is to release it in 2 parts in Holiday 2027 & 2028.
Also, a multiplayer GaaS Spider-Man title (titled leaked: The Great Web) will release on the same day as the SM-3 part-1.
[perhaps something like Warzone or GTA Online, a multiplayer companion release along with the regular release]
The leak even contains/confirms the PC version of Wolverine (playable pre-alpha)
..
edit : as well as all future Insomniac projects:
Marvel's Venom: Lethal Protector in Fall 2025 (Miles Morales in scope. An all-new storyline that continues Spider-Man 2 and leads into Spider-Man 3. Playable, switchable Venom and Spider-Heroes)
Marvel's Wolverine in Fall 2026
Marvel's Spider-Man 3 in Fall 2028
New Ratchet & Clank in Fall 2029...
One of my most anticiapted game
Some of the scenes in the video with the Banana Splits song (lol) seems near completion ~ Man, urging me to revisit the brutal X-Men Origins Wolverine game from Raven Software
edit : damn, the video even contains Jira board (which we also use at office) work efforts from 2022!

2nd concept art is giving off stealth vibes ...
seems like the game will have equal share of stealth and the traditional blade hack n slash mayhem
Just want to point out as well ... PC piracy has gone down significantly with GOG, Steam sales, Epic sale + giveaways, region wise customized price cuts, post-release game-fixing patches and DRM.
And also, Rockstar want gamers to double dip. (sounds absurd but money is money)
A PC release with extra features might convince many gamers to get the better version later.
yea, I've been following his tweets as well ... this project/analysis has been in development for quite a while, he's been tweeting his findings for quite some time.
seriously? Rino?
all he/the account does is post pretty tweets on X ... not a good source
Where'd you get the 23.04TF from?
14.33 TF is what the article states (RDNA3 dual issue compute is of very limited use and is restricted to certain few common packed FP16 instructions, so the 28.76TF is unlikely, RDNA3 dual issue was also micro-tested by chipsandcheese.com on a 7900XTX)
well if the devs are too lazy to properly optimize PC ports ... it ain't the PC components' fault ... its the software's fault.
I want Bethesda's IPs to move to UE ... but they won't/can't coz of their script architecture ... (and it'll be a huge transition for them, hence they still haven't done it, in spite of UE existing for over 23+ years)
ES6 is defo Creation Engine based ... and since Bethesda themselves are not transitioning anytime soon, I doubt they'll allow Obsidian to create a game based on their IP using anything but creation engine. ( but hope I am wrong )
So best...
