Is gamepass coming to other consoles?
Seems bizarre if true

The gap between the two SKUs is likely to be even larger than it is between Series S and X.
Might become another pain in the butt for developers and gamers.
Just look at the parity between PS4 and Nintendo Switch launching in the same generation.
Very few PS4/XboxOne games were downgraded to run on Switch and those looked horrible and ran poorly
And a PS5/Series X game like Alan Wake II runs horribly on the Steam Deck
sub-16fps @ 800p-lowest settin...

yea, hence I said Remake not Remaster

862d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

lets see ... Bluepoint's remakes are great ...but not total reworks like RE2 or FF7
but pretty sure they can come up with a good Remake of Legend of Dragoon

If Square Enix can remake FF7, then why not Sony?
Remake these classics, Sony ... not recent games like Until Dawn

@IRetrouk
yea well, MS's still in the console business unlike the SEGA 2001 exit.
I am not talking the hypothetical Xbox exit, which is yet to happen or may not happen.
So for the meantime i.e in near future, IMHO, MS can port every of their recent exclusives to PS except their revered flagship IPs. (Halo, Gears)
Of course if MS actually exits the console hardware market in about ~5 years, they will no doubt port those to PS as well, but before that, I ...

lol,
Now, Sea of thieves and Hi-fi I can understand
heck even Starfield
but Halo on PS? That sounds soooo .. weird?
Halo defined Xbox and now its leaking into the very rival platform, for which Xbox owes its existence?
< I'd say port everything from Starfield to Senua II but keep some legacy IPs like Halo, Gears, Fable & Forza exclusive to the Xbox. >
:-P

@Eonjay
Yea its surprising, Disney's letting Sony.
And MS can pay big bucks too
I never argued that SpiderMan needs to go to other platforms, given it was Insomniac and Sony had movie licenses.
But given now that Disney might not allow exclusives anymore, will the future Wolverine and Blade go to rival platforms?

and Spider-Man doesn't?

yea,
"Just based on where we were, I didn't want to prioritize this story, so that story was shelved. And I still believe one day it will see the light of day. I don't know if it will be a game or a show."
Druckmann admits that there was a concept for a post-TLOU II story about Tommy. It sounds like this would have been DLC, or the usual Sony “half-sequels,” but it was ultimately shelved due to production problems at Naughty Dog.

I know ... but giving them some slack coz that's still two IPs across two generations.
and TLOU came at the very tail-end of PS3 with very poor performance and ran better on the PS4. So I am treating it here more like a PS4 IP.

Might get saturated ... but also depends on the theme and presentations ... let's see

maybe it will take after TLOU II but will have flashbacks serving as prequel segments?
