PS5 Pro will surely get a price cut.. pretty early I reckon
Its 699 Sterling muh dude ... that's 914 USD when converted properly ...
Sipping tea and playing @ 4K60 demands 200+ USD
(all were listed price inclusive of tax)
I wonder what MS is currently thinking ...
Announce the Next Xbox earlier? @ 2026 @ 600? And drop the price lower than PS6 when it launches a year later?
The presentation felt pretty rushed and kinda ... dare I say pointless @ asking price (presentation-wise)?
Just past few cross-gen games with distant +LoD and a few cross-gens with added RT
Its like Sony being the segment leader just bullying the consumer base with a fatter price as they see fit.
Price drop announcement likely coming soon-ish or atleast within a year.
"a copy of Astro’s Playroom pre-installed in every PS5 Pro purchase."
~ yea no s*** .... better should come pre-installed with full Astro Bot actually.
Who knows ... maybe they even considered pre-installing Concord especially for the Pro @ 700 before the unfortunate *ahem*
So the Pro is nearly same size as the OG PS5-digital?
Same CPU confirmed
More cross-PC tech sharing
lol .... that headline got rid of lotta worries
@gold_drake
of course I meant the price situation exclusively but adding "is an upgrade" makes the situation more dire
Play Has Limits @ $700 ...
@OtterX
I doubt the PS5 part ... 2TF will be slower than Series S, even if considering RDNA gen upgrade.
Maybe few cross-gen titles?
Unless Sony dedicatedly comes out with special perf profiles for some PS5 games for running on the handheld à la Steam Deck-esque style verification profiles.
* And that's happened to N4G's approval system ... all biased towards videogamer.com ... hypocrisy
sideways coz " Vertical Stand sold separately " ?
Yea ... no mention of CPU perf uplift ... so games with loads of AI or any other CPU calc will continue to struggle?
PS3 launch all over again
those strakes ain't cheap
all digital
FYI, The same person who leaked the PS5 Pro’s specs + PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution claims Sony Interactive Entertainment has reached out to AMD for a handheld with 2TF of GPU power, surpassing that of a base PS4.
A new Vita/PS4 Portable might be in works
Cerny went straight to the point
Ubi needs a Remastering
Wow... a whole article based on something I was able to already write in a single one-liner comment (and already wrote in the main PS5 presentation blog story).
And the article's not even telling anything new except few lines covering slip up.
Christopher used to fail this kind of minor submissions....
it was a sarcazoom
