It was not until I played a certain game - Black Desert Online - did I not realize how powerful those cosmetics could be. Now I know it's an entirely different market over there and that the game only costs around $15 or so to get in, but not being able to customize my armour was a huge turnoff for me. I remember seeing some pretty badass armour, and wanted to work towards that (as well as playing the relatively fast-paced and intense gameplay) and only kept receiving extremely minor upgr...
I am actually pretty glad that both are available. Despite the faults on both of their ends (e.g., Epic Games' slight disregard for its original "Save the World" campaign which is understandable for the success, and PUBG Corporation's slower rollout of updates and overall less accessibility with the optimization), they are both good to have as competition as always. Fortnite now surpasses PUBG, who took the throne from H1Z1, and it is their fault entirely. They sat too comfo...
I'm right up there with you, I'd absolutely love to see a Grandia 1 remake anytime. My brother used to play that all the time, and I would watch him play that game through and through. Besides that, I definitely would not mind a remastered or updated Demon's Souls. I just wish that they also updated features on Dark Souls 1 Remastered, as that definitely had cut content or stuff to fix (I am looking at you Lost Izalith). This is the same thing with Demon's Souls, so if they ma...
The weird thing with the Nintendo Switch is that it has some truly great technology under it, but equally, if not more, weird and questionable decisions. For example, Power Delivery for charging is one thing to note for it being quite future-proof for charging, the technology in the Joy-Cons, the hardware underneath to run those beautiful games, etc. But again, stuff like having me to buy an Ethernet adapter for my dock, no cloud saves or ability to backup saves onto anything at all, no Bluet...
I truly did like this game, but I never kept playing it after the first week. The levels and the way that the match progressed with the large owl and wyvern creature fighting each other was great, but I felt like the core combat was not THAT fun enough. It's very sad as I played it every update to see what would come up, but I saw this coming a mile away when the team got moved around and such. The potential this game had was gigantic, but it just didn't garner the support it needed. ...
Now that 3.0 is out, those people won't flock here for a little bit. God forbid that this game would deliver a taste of what it's final experience will be. Unfortunately, they always come back... I am just glad to see 3.0 finally come out! They can talk all they want, but in the end, I get to finally re-install the game again (it's quite large) and try it once again! I love doing this and seeing the differences.
I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch, but it's taken a lot of funds from me to get it to where it is for me! I have two sets of Joy-cons, Pro controller, Hori Playstand, Joycon Charging stand, External IPS Monitor (trips), Stereo Cables (for the speakers), Ethernet Adapter, Speakers (to connect on the go at a hotel), a separate Nintendo bag (again for trips), 256 GB pretty fast SD card, and probably a couple other things to complete it. It has been my most expensive console investment, a...
What I do not understand is why people keep calling this a scam, they have shown various times what their development looks like, and what exactly (as of recently) their actual development timelines are. I only pledged the base package back in the day, and I always chime in every now and then. I always am happy to hear that progress is always MOVING forward because we should be WANTING (almost all) video games to succeed, not to fail. People only see it as a scam because of the various setbac...
Well, everybody has an opinion, particularly, this is Jessica Curry's opinion - composer for Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - a game for which I felt the soundtrack was amazing as well. Her choice of music is catered to how she sees music should be done mostly. Although I agree with the Horizon Zero Dawn and Destiny (Far Cry 4 I have not listened to), The Last of Us' soundtrack did not catch me besides the main track. That whole soundtrack is basically the Skyrim Atmospheres trac...
I just wanted to chip in my two cents. I have backed this game in early 2014 with a basic $40 package. I have been following this game on and off for the past few years, and I am ALWAYS blown away with each massive step they take. The jokes are pretty funny as it is taking a long time, but few recognize the massive scope, visuals, and gameplay this will deliver. I don't feel like I wasted money at all, and I am absolutely happy that CIG is taking their time. I can wait all I want because ...
It's not multiplayer-only though, you can play with AI in your team complete the campaign just fine. I am surprised you did not find out it is a Left 4 Dead clone basically as it's foundation is completely just that with a Warhammer paint. But at least it adds things that Left 4 Dead doesn't have and stands on it's own two feet for being a competent horde slasher/shooter (mostly slasher because of its melee focus).
Just because Logan had a some themes similar to The Last of Us doesn't mean it was "taking from it". Everybody borrows something from somewhere else, it's hard to create an original thing, but Logan was unique for a modern Superhero movie - which it did not feel like. Also, The Last of Us isn't exactly the most original story, setting, etc. created as well, if anything, it's very derivative. But the narrative, characters, writing, and the bonds between these characte...
I love my Nintendo Switch so far! Was able to finally get a hold of one while checking the Best Buy Gamer's Club Twitter every day. Now that I have it, I am glad to say it surpassed my expectations! Maybe I was in the niche of having a strong PC (mainly game on that) and PS4. Sadly, I don't get too use my PS4 all that often except for Tekken 7 right now. I definitely want to play Persona 5 as I loved Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita (still support that console!) and there are some othe...
@AspiringProGenji
That's great man! Honestly, props to you because I also am not THAT affected by 30 FPS. But there's nothing wrong with asking for more now, especially with the PS4 Pro. For a game like Dark Souls, playing it on 60 FPS for the first time was a dream on PC, especially after playing Demon's Souls and Dark Souls on PS3 before finally transitioning to playing the game on PC after the first game's Prepare to Die Edition. Bloodborne I can manage b...
I still don't understand the notion of people still wanting R6 Patriots over that abysmal reveal that instantly turned me off. Rainbow Six Siege is STILL an amazing game. We should be happy that a shooter like this is respected and has a huge following. A franchise like this getting this love means that future titles WILL be more probable. The multiplayer (have over 200 hours) is one of the most unique ones I have played in a long while and a fresh take for a tired genre. I still remember...
You named 4 of the 5 mainline Elder Scrolls games to represent you're opinion. To be honest, only Morrowind and MAYBE Daggerfall or Oblivion should be added. In the end though, this is just another list for top ten RPGs, which is of course, is entirely subjective.
@RedPill86
I see, you're one of those people that still call it a lie even after all of the footage they have shown up to this point. AND releasing their development schedule. I have been patiently waiting since 2013, and I have never been any happier for the game. I wish for the best of it, as it is one of the most daring games to ever be in the works. That game is so open about its development, but people still cannot appreciate it. I hope that these workers do go and...
One thing that always bothers me is the fact that SO MANY people want a single-player experience for this game and others like Siege. I have always believed that this game was going to be a team-based multiplayer game - that any single-player content was additional to the core experience provided. Why do so many people want a single-player segment added to games when there are so many dedicated single-player titles. At the same time, they demand that they add these to multiplayer titles? Bliz...
I will be honest, this is the same situation I had with Rainbow Six Siege, but they were both marketed from the beginning as multiplayer titles. So I always associated them as multiplayer titles with a single player portion available (with Situations in Siege). I really do not expect anything ground-breaking from the single player, and I am really excited for just the gameplay and combat in taking down foes with my "Nippon steel folded over a thousand times" blade! Of course, people...
I kind of regret my purchase of the day one version of this game when it came out because I did not know that the DLC would keep continuing and that it would release for PC. I have over 40 hours on that save and don't want to restart necessarily, but it's already been almost a year since I last played it. I also got turned off once I could not keep my screenshots as I thought the amount to keep was a bit too low. Anyone know if they raised the cap, and based on what I say, should I ju...
