That is because the bots saying things like that, are simply stupid. Both UC2 and ME2 were hits, about your sales numbers, remember there is also the pc version.
Do mag or heavy rain sales come in mind here, they sold about the same? Come on 1.5 million are good for a game like this.
Why is it all these screens needs to be from german sites?
This comparison is stupid, of course a 2009 engine looks better than a 2006 one.
The problem is that most people only bought ODST because it was halo. Some of my friends, who are mature and serious gamer, said that ODST was complete garbage and nothing new. Admit it, ODST was a failure, not in sales but in quality.
Optimizing a game for the pc, making it compatible with as much of the standard pc hardware out there, and making it run as fast as possible is as much a challenge, than making it run on consoles. Just look at a good optimized pc game compared to a bad optimized pc game *cough* GTA IV *cough*.
I think they invested far more time in Windows 7 than xbox live. If sony are so great, i would like to see them doing a OS...
I'm saying that most companies would not do that, Epic has a whole team, dedicated to creating engines, so does Crytek. Creating an engine for all tree platforms takes time, and as Bioware are not know for creating the best of the best engines, then they would made little to no money on it.
I don't think we will see this, this type of gameplay is not fit for consoles.

ME1 was an RPG.
ME2 was an RPG-Shooter Hybrid.

Both mass effect games are 720p native, according to wikipedia. Some guy on the bioware forums did also confirm it.
Ahh sorry mate, but as a big mass effect fan, i can say you are wrong. The models have a bit fewer polygons, and the game have too many low res textures.
They have done that, they made 3-4 engines as far as i remember. The Dragon Age engine was their own work. Unreal engine is just the better choice when you are going for multiplatform, own engine is better for exclusives.
It was ok, the first one was still way better.

I would not say GOW3 is that hardcore. Neither is MGS or Uncharted. Heavy Rain is in a grey zone. MAG and Demon Souls are definitely hardcore, and i think we can safely presume GT5 will be kind of hardcore to. I have not played the rest of your list.
PC are most hardcore in terms of professional gaming and tournaments, and most multiplayer. However in term of single player, i would say Console and PC are equal. Games like Demons Souls and GT proves you wrong.
GT has always been one of Sony's biggest if not THE biggest franchise. And i think the 17 million people who bought GT 3, disagrees with you. Gran Turismo is THE racing game, has always been and will always be.
You do know that we got the whole RTS and MMORPG genre right? Just because a game is not AAA on metacritic, it can still be played.
It is actually multi plat, just not on the PS3.
Award wise yes, but it is still not the best game for me.
No PS3 games come technically close to the first Crysis.
