The PC got more than enough games, most PC gamers know that a games does not have to be AAA to be good.
And then, WoW is at 12 million active accounts, i will bet it has sold about 30 million overall.
I don't think you prefer a console because you are lazy. I think maybe it is more about the games, the controls, and the general way things works.
You could get a good gaming rig for the price of a 360 + PS3 + HDTV. You also has to remember games are cheaper for the PC. You can also do a lot of other stuff on your pc too, however if you prefer mac, i can see why pc would be a bad choice for you. It is all about personal preference.
The whole RTS and MMORPG genre says hallo, as well as a big chunk of RPG games. And of course most of the hardcore fps's.
The most played online game is still on PC, just saying :P
EDIT: To the ones who disagree, care to comment? World of Warcraft is the most played online game.
I have 2 major reasons
1# The games, the games and genres i prefer are best played on a pc with a keyboard and mouse.
2# I can use it to surf the internet, listen to music, do my homework and all the other stuff. My Pc is the only media machine i got in my room.
But that is just my personal preference.

I would take a microsoft product over an apple product any day (not talking about consoles). I also thinks Windows 7 is far superior to any apple OS. Anyways i don't want all the restrictions Apple put in their products.

Well, i don't own a 360, but i must say i'm impressed over the improvement from Halo 3, now we just need to how it perform real time and which resolution it runs in.
The problems about campers in MW2 is that the way killstreaks are made, it rewards camping.
Mods are additional files etc. but not actual applications.
So the two best "exclusives" of the 360, is actually multi platform. Something is wrong here :S
I find it funny that the writer does not even mention: Heavy Rain, Mass Effect, Uncharted 2, The Witcher, and so on. Also MGS4 and HL2 have a bad story? NOPE

GT5 prolouge is not 1080p it is 1280x1080 in game, and a bit higher in replays.
This is why i prefer my PC and dedicated servers.
They have getting really greedy at Activision/Blizzard and they know they can get away with it, because so many will still play their games.
That really depends on the game, CS:Source, MW2 and WoW have large number of idiots.
