@Jeba, the evidence was comments in previous articles with startling support (high agree to diagree ratio) about how he's fake and how Xbox fans are idiotic for sucking it up and it's all part of a PR campaign.
And there was no off-handed remark about Shu. Only about the hypocrties. I love Shu just as much as Phil. I think they're both great guys, true gamers and a positive influence in the gaming industry as a whole
That's why I said 'Here come'. Because they always do. Unfortunately :/
Here come the 'What a PR seeking fake demon leading the Xbox sheep' comments.
But when Shu does it, behold the mighty shu, guardian of gamers
I love it when gaming execs interact with gamers and answer their questions, makes you feel like we're a part of the process and that our voices are actually being heard.
Keep it up Phil
I wish 343 made Halo editions like Bungie did and call them legendary editions again that I could afford and had much more worthwhile content than Halo 4's (Halsey's black box wrapped up Journal in Halo reach Legendary edition was one of my favourite items in any game edition ever, the statue was nice too)
Stil getting Limited edition Halo 5, and the statue looks ace!
Can't wait for this game. Not watching any more footage or trailers that come ou...
That comes slowly and painfully, driving consumers insane to the point where they end up buying the in-game currency with their own money? Great
Haha I forget to put @--- sometimes but I was adressing djplonker for Excusing Sony's lack of AAA games throughout the year because they had one early on, but Xbox having lots later on is deemed bad.
He also acted like AAA games are the only ones that matter which annoys me, especially when Xbox fanboys do it because it makes us look like a bunch of arrogant snobby 'ugh those graphics are bad' idiots when in fact indies (e.g ori) can make for the best experiences ...
And there's like 2 or 3 for PS over the entire year. Why is it acceptable for PS to only have AAA exclusives in first half of year, but not acceptable for Xbox to have them in the second
And my main point, why do only AAA exclusives count? PS has lower grade exclusives throughout the year but so has Xbox. AAA games aren't the only games out there, you know.
Oh, and Rare Replay was AAA exclusive before Gears of War
Edit: To clarify, by...
Oh well, it was expected due to the third party marketing deal with PS
I think it dropped 3 points because the 4, 6.5 and 7 like I said?
I fully intend to early next year during a dry spell of games. Or I may save up longer for a ps4 and get the Last of Us remastered and the Uncharted collection
Never owned any PS console after PS2, but Ratchet and Clank will always have a special place in my heart. Looks great <3. Enjoy it PlayStation Nation!
I very partially agree with him, but I think regardless of graphics the console are much more capable in terms of technical achievements e.g how much they can fit into a big open world. Maybe he meant to say that, but although graphics aren't a bit thing to me, richer and more detailed environments through better texture and lighting are definitely incentives to upgrade. I like seeing improvements in the game and how the world looks. Frame rate is also a big boost to the experience but re...
I think Crackdown Visuals are really good for the style they're going for
In terms of convincing graphics and the everlasting journey to photorealism (9th gen, calling it), as you said, decent at best. That's because of the art style and right now, visually it looks pretty to me. Not realistic pretty, but pretty.
Haha that's cool
They aren't trending down, they've had 1 4, a 6.5 and a couple of 7s. The rest are 8s and 9s
I agree with you that the war is pointless, but it isn't deemed pointless due to PS4 sales. That doesn't determine quality of the console or its exclusives. But it's all subjective. The war will never be won. Noone will ever convince a PS player to suddenly like Xbox games more, or vice versa. The whole war is childplay and it is by far the WORST part of gaming.
I'm sorry but anyone who is disappointed and insults all 3 Conferences and found NOTHING to be happy about across 3 of the biggest gaming conferences is history is not someone who should be reviewing games. He has obviously lost all his enthusiasm for gaming it and is a massive killjoy
Luckily they're going for using cloud to benefit multiplayer (that's what it looks like atm) so hopefully your unstable internet won't hinder what you get to play anymore than normal multiplayer in games does.
Yup. Hopefully cloud won't be implemented into all single player games making them online only, but I wouldn't mind a few single player experiences enhanced by it. Personally I hope the benefits are used to enhance multiplayer more than single player as there are no more restrictions than there is already in multiplayer. Hopefully they continue to use it to offload cpu computations and nothing more major, but I definitely can't wait to see what MS has in store to demonstrate its c...
Well this article should lead to some civil and well-reasoned discussion....
