just finishing this game up now. Great narrative throughout, and a cool philosophical idea. Honestly, the story on its own is great, and when the game stays on terra-firma with puzzles and psychological twists, its playing to its strengths. A platformer it is not, and the clunky ill-advised last level is a let down, though not enough to destroy the intriguing journey you've enjoyed until then. Solid 7/10 for me. Good review.

Brilliant brilliant game. Funny, quirky, great story. In my opinion, where 'retro' style games seem to be garnering alot of attention and praise at the moment, Earthbound is the jewel in the crown. (And yes, its better than the excellent Shovel Knight.)
Mine was knowing i wouldn't have the greatest assassin in the galaxy, Thane with me in Mass Effect 3, and visiting him dying in the hospital was gut-wrenching.

you're completely missing the point of Wii u owners being constantly treated like second-class citizens. And yes, of course the game was wanted and there was a market for it on wii U. We bloody backed it on kickstarter AND the wii U was most popular platform for it in a poll conducted by Slightly Mad Studios. But now they got our money, after convincing us that the Wii u version would look amazing and NOT be an after thought. They can go FUCK themselves.

The Wonderful 101 is one of the most criminally underrated games so far this gen. Brilliant game, unlike anything else ive played.

its between Galaxy and 64 for me. For 2d thrills, i'd go for Super Mario World. But Mario 3d world would be in my persnal top 5, along with Mario Sunshine.
Love this game! Underrated in general and we need a proper new 2d metroid on 3ds in similar vein to Fusion.
You know its funny, but people tend to forget about free video calling on the pad, Nintendo Tvii (N.America), the nfc capabilities and the abiity to play your your console games on the toilet (always undervalued!) But i guess its human nature to always want more. Maybe if the pad had a coffee dispenser and cup holder it would appeal to more idiots. Anyway, i dont even use my pc to internet browse anymore. I'd honestly be lost without my wii U now.
