Yeah it's definitely a good deal, but I wish these retailers would have some kind of system whereby you could choose from a selection of games instead.

I've seen bundles for example which include Forza, Sunset Overdrive, Call of Duty and the Halo Collection all together. If I could swap COD and Halo out for other games of equal value I'd have probably bought an Xbox One.

I'd love a bundle with Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive and GTA...

I think the Twisted Metal franchise is dead, unfortunately. It really sucks that it died along with Wipeout on the PS3, they were two of my favorite PlayStation IPs.

Yeah, I think that they'd have to outsell the PS4 in the UK and USA every month for about a year just to catch up to Sony's lead, let alone 'take' either region.

I think IGN is actually using the whole 'Review in Progress' thing to milk hits for their site. They've been doing it with pretty much every game recently, putting up review in progress articles and review in progress videos and such, they're basically doing it to double/triple their ad revenue and hits to the site. It's pretty lame, to be honest.

If the review is in progress, why not just keep quiet about it and show us the review when it's done? Nope...

Nice to see Nintendo consistently deliver high quality games for their customers, looks like Wii U owners made the right choice after all.

I'm interested to see how Destiny 2 fares since this game rode off of insane hype but people will be much more wary of the sequel.

I just hope that they don't focus on any stupid gimmicks like the older Tony Hawk games (the dumb peripherals you had to use) and stay as far away from realism as possible. If it's unashamedly over the top arcade craziness it will be a breath of fresh air. Hopefully they don't go the realistic route.

@Bloodborn

Hahaha what? A known troll? News to me. I guess you're a known fanboy prone to insecurity and personal attacks when somebody dares to point out an exclusive game hasn't received universal praise? Well, gee.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Hands-on impressions from everyone that's played the game were generally negative, and I'm expecting the game to fall flat on its face when it launches. It really looks like they spent too much time obsessing over graphics instead of making a fun game to play, and why they decided to make this a singleplayer-only experience when it could have been PlayStation's answer to Gears of War is beyond me.

Isn't everyone having issues because the game launched in a broken state on PC? It just seems that right now the pirates can't patch the game whereas people who actually bought it can. I wouldn't call this a win for anyone when it seems paying customers and pirates alike both got screwed by Ubisoft lol.

You're upset because they reviewed an exclusive game for your favorite platform poorly.

Personally, I'm starting to place a lot of trust in GameSpot recently because they're not afraid to call out games for their failures and shortcomings. Fanboys cry and whine as usual, but recently GameSpot has hit the nail on the head with every game they've reviewed.

Criterion revolutionized the racing genre when they introduced Autolog. That DriveClub attempts a poor, sloppy and broken implementation of a system similar to that and then claims to be the, "best, newest, greatest" is quite frankly, laughable.

DriveClub is a complete mess of a game. Sony screwed up big time when they fired all the talented folk at Sony Liverpool and chose Evolution Studios to make this mess instead. If Shuhei wasn't such an idiot we could have...

Yeah, FaryCry 3 was terrible. The open world was utterly dull and lacking in character with the only real thing to do being to assault the same boring outposts populated by the exact same single type of enemy over and over again. I'm not surprised that FarCry 4 is the exact same thing but with different graphics.

Bayonetta 2, DriveClub and Sunset Overdrive weren't mentioned because they all sold like crap.

It sucks for Platinum Games since they do make great titles, but Viewtiful 101 flopped hard and I'm not surprised that Bayonetta 2 didn't perform very well either. There's a reason third parties have a reputation of selling abysmally on Nintendo consoles.

He's a scam artist, just ask all the disgruntled customers who wasted money on his "game".

I totally called his supposed resignation as bs back when it was announced as well, he didn't go anywhere. The two guys at Code Avarice (this guy and his friend who's also prone to psychotic breakdowns and threats) are just liars and frauds.

I mean stop to think of this for one moment; Mike Maulbeck laughed and bragged about beating his ex girlfrie...

Same here, I honestly can't fault the game at all, it was fantastic in every single area from art direction to level design and core gameplay mechanics. I'm really excited for the inevitable reveal of a sequel (maybe E3 2015?) and can't wait to see what the developers have been working on, they're a really talented studio.

If Sony were putting out an Uncharted game every single year I can see why people would get sick of it, but as it stands right now I see no reason to hope that Naughty Dog abandons the franchise. I mean the Uncharted games are good, who wouldn't want more of them?

Uncharted 3 released back in 2011 and Uncharted 4 may release in 2015. I don't see why anyone would complain about an Uncharted 5 in 2019 or so.

Or people with Windows 7 will think, "Why would I upgrade from an OS that works fine?"

4083d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

I think a 6/10 is being too generous considering the wealth of problems that the game has. The problem is stupid fanboys get so wrapped up in mindlessly defending the faceless corporations that don't give a crap about them, that they can't even realize they've been sold a pile of junk for $60.

Any game, regardless of platform/publisher/developer should be reviewed harshly for not working as advertised. That goes for Master Chief Collection, DriveClub, Assassins Cr...

I dunno, I'd say this story is pretty believable to be honest. Ubisoft are a terrible publisher whose whole business strategy revolves around misleading consumers with faked gameplay and screenshots, and repeatedly pushing broken and unfinished games onto the market year after year. The fact that it's reasonable to believe that Yves said that speaks volumes, in my opinion.
