Counter-strike and it's other releases was not priced as a full price game at the time it released. Evolve has about as much content as that did at launch. CS also didn't have DLC up the ass when it launched and all that was added later was free.
I feel 2K required they launch it at $60.

I'm with you and no I have never seen people who have valid criticisms towards something as trolls. That term has been butchered just like the term "weeaboo" is now referring to anyone who plays anime art style games. I mean, nobody is forcing me to buy it, but I am perfectly allowed to ask why some people are into it this much despite not even playing a shred of the game. I think the points brought up by most people are based on the interviews with RaD in the past year. I mean lots of people don't like it simply because of how it's been treated like a movie instead of a game. When you flat out say that you intentionally limited the resolution because you wanted a letter box like presentation to make it more of a film, that's why people are pissed. People who don't like it wanted this to be more of a game and less of a movie.

There is plenty of bitching about assassins creed and CoD. Everyone gave up because they are killing themselves slowly year after year. Madden and sports games in general are like the CMT of video games, that's why you don't see country music on MTV. Also your an idiot who can't see the big picture, why don't you look at how much your paying versus how much your actually getting. Like literally do you truly feel one monster is worth 1/4th of the games...

Yeah because 2K totally didn't rake in 800 million in a day from GTA5 on the first release. Nor do they have a constant funnel of money from shark cards, Borderlands double dipping, etc.

Even now the marketing is setting in. Look to the left and right of your screen. You now see giant vertical banners advertising Evolve whereever you are on this site.
Oh it's fun with friends for about 2 hours. Then it just shoots down in interest almost immediately. Also the fun with friends phrase is cheap because everything is fun with friends no matter how terrible it is. Why do you think people get drunk with friends or party with friends?
Believe me nobody thinks this game was even cool to begin with. The game is not actually that popular and it may seem that way from the amount of marketing courtesy of 2K. It's actually considered "cool" to praise the game at this point, at least you'll get that troll status just like on the other end of the spectrum.
This game was set to fail before it even got announced. Announcing pre-order bonuses before even a single screenshot or official announcement was even made was just the tip of the iceberg.
Let me summarize this for you.
1: Non gaming player can't get into game due to requiring a certain level of thought process and hand-eye coordnation
2: Publishers blame that fact on the game being too hard or that the actions aren't simplified e.g. One button combat, Press X to do everything, only using the face buttons instead of making full use of the controller.
3. Sequel gets simplified and turns many of its prior fans off of it b...

When you start announcing preorder bonuses before even releasing a single screenshot or an official revealing, you know something bad is brewing.
I just want a reason to keep coming back to it. I just see this as the kinda game you beat once and never come back to.
The fact that there's even 3 females as opposed to none at all is enough for the game. Why don't you complain about more serious threats to the game like it's low monster variety.

I like how people are bashing certain games like The Order, Halo 5, etc. Only to have the people defending them claim, "JUST WAIT FOR THE REVIEWS!" That statement just proves his point in that people rely too heavily on someone telling them what to buy.
Everyone's gonna do it specifically because of this stance they took. Even if they tried delaying it to put in an anti-mod file setup there still gonna break it.
