@thornstein

Where the hell do you live where you pay $5 for a soda? Also, the way you put it anything can be more expensive when you start adding quantities like that.

A more correct comparison would be a DVD and a game, and those are about $15-$20 so you've managed to completely make a fool of yourself congratulations!

That was mildly amusing

It's too late now everything is set in stone. The game has been panned for exactly what RaD designed the game as. This game being showcased as a AAA console exclusive is exactly why everyone is being critical of it on both sides of the spectrum, console exclusives play a key role in marketing the ps4 so this being mediocre isn't a good thing.

I think the comparison between the Steak and game is closer than you think http://imgur.com/Ho7c8V7

When you flat out admit your game is Graphics > Gameplay, why are you surprised it had dozens of negative articles way before launch?

But the walking dead wasn't advertised as a shooter.

@genuine-user

At least AC unity had a game underneath it's buggy mess.

@ninisigma

I played it all the way through from a redbox rental and beat within 5 hours and 20 minutes. I encountered instances where the enemy AI would do that thing where they keep running back and forth from both sides of cover, an instance where an enemy was inside a wall and shooting at me, and one where I phased through a bunch static objects during the final chapter boss QTE.

Overall, the entire experience was just boring. I played these types of games...

It's not hard to bug fix something when you only have a limited amount of content that needs fixing.

What you said I agree with, but I believe RaD's approach was the wrong way to try innovation in the gaming industry. I can appreciate that they put a surplus amount of detail and care into the game world and the design and presentation is top notch, but when you look at the fundamentals of what games are all about, where do you take a step back and realize that you're just putting wedding decor on a homemade birthday cake? I feel they put too much work around everything that doesn'...

And they aren't ignored on that site as they are still exclusives. I was pointing out what games are fully exclusive to PS4 as that was what people are looking at when they see the PS4's library. Outside of that I wouldn't have to purchase a PS4 to enjoy LBP3 so that's why it's seperated in that way, you also have console exclusives that are available on PC and PS4 but not on Xbox.

There are also 6 digital only PS4 exclusives but as...

Based on the section in the top left corner there's a total of 5 fully exclusive ps4 games and only 1 of them is above 75 on metacritic which is infamous at 82.

@Hiddenmission

I know you are paid by a 3rd party to spread positive opinions about certain games around the web. 2 years ago you went out of your way making and submitting RE6 articles constantly praising the game before it released then when it released and bombed you went around complaining on the lowest scoring sites and trying to deflect the bad scores on other reasons. That's why your name is HiddenMission, you have a hidden mission for spreading untruths around for...

God calm down and try writing 1 or 2 sentences instead of making a whole essay out of every single statement.

Again, you could of just wrote, "I don't believe a group of reviewers opinions means they are the majority of what people think."

@joe

You know you could of just wrote, "It's too early to call the Order a disappointment by the majority," instead of going off on a console warrior crusade with the essay.

@man

I have completed 100% of Lollipop Chainsaw and that game was completed in 4 hours on average, but that game gave you a reason to go back to the game.

I would give The Order a free pass if it was presented as an artistic experience like anything from Team Ico, Journey, and Flower. But you can immediately tell that RaD's main goal was to make something watchable 1st and playable 2nd. It also doesn't help when you need to use QTEs to progress in you...

That's not saying much if its longer than a CoD campaign.

I think we need to measure the game's length against the longest shooter campaign there is on the market. As an example, Shadow Warrior (2013) is about 12 to 14 hours on an average playthrough and that is considered a good length from many users. Back in 2006, games that were 6 to 7 hours in length were considered too short by most reviewers, so it's no surprise this was labeled short as well.

It's about as engaging as eating food with preservatives. It looks really good but then when you take a bite it leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Also Cliffy B. is the leading douchebag of the industry, why does he need more publicity?

The post you made would've made more sense if the game wasn't presented with many common video game ideas. It's a 3rd person cover shooter so of course people expect there to be something more to it than just that.

I believe the game would of scored and received much better if they had developed a different genre first then wrap the setup around that, instead of reverse. You can't make a pie without the filling coming in first.

There's man...
