Apparently everyone needs to like and see games exactly the same as everyone else otherwise it's a clickbait/troll review. The mass hates censorship yet advocates it when it concerns bad review scores. The hypocrisy is surreal.

It felt too bland and looked even blander in game. Thus the bland review score. I don't think a game deserves a 9 just because you had fun with it. I've had fun playing some 5/10 tier games but that doesn't make them a better game. You can have fun playing any game if its suited to what you like or you're playing with friends (which almost always results in fun)

This. This is what killed Fable legends. I was in the countless alphas and betas and the microtransactions were the real stake in the heart of the game. Even after they "adjusted" it, it was still ridiculously tedious to just get the free coins which required thousands to use whilst the paid ones cost only hundreds. Literal freenium game on a home console.

I think people hate the scifi CoDs because its unrelatable to the real world, plus the added abilities like free cloaking and speed boosts really becomes a turn off for a lot of people.
They make walking simulators and political statements not tense and exciting games.
The actual reason I believe is because of the simple fact that the service is being offered on 3 separate consoles and rather than have a bolstering library on one console they chose to spread out the quality amongst 3. If the vita for example had nothing but retail releases for 6 months it would have offered just about every game you'd ever want to own on the thing. PS3 itself is beginning to run dry after 6 years.
But that would imply people actually bought their games.
The real problem has nothing to do with jealousy at this point, its the fact that because of people like PDP and many others taking advantage of the system. It's now literally impossible to become a lets player because of how all the corporations locked down everything so now only the most known people get to profit. If you try to make a channel at this point you'll get eaten alive by the rabid PDP brones and not even talking about the potential channel take downs.
