Because EA access directly competes with PS+ and giving the consumer the choice to spend money nearly always results in them spending money. By allowing the free market the option to support the service in turn is too risky too allow as it will spread to other publishers who will in turn formulate similar paid services in reaction to the changing market that will end with putting up a wall that prevents just buying a game but having to go through a service first. The...

And none of those games on you listed for Xbox will ever see an exclusive release or the light of day again, what happened to titanfall? Back in 2007 the biggest first party games to own were Halo, Gears, and Forza, shadowrun, crackdown, and Lost oddessy. Today its just Halo, Gears, and Forza. Nothing they've made in the past 10 years has been sustained long enough to give it a sequel or was either killed off outright after repeated failures(fable). Now they're stuck shooting out one ...

Technically MK9 started it with the fighter pass thing back in april 2011 and coicidentally they were also the first ones to start online passes from what I had seen. Prior to that publishers rewarded people for buying new instead of punishing them. The gears 2 flashback map pack comes to mind for that. EA gave birth to the online pass with Project 10 dollar, which rewarded people with extra content for buying new. But it quickly turned into a major requirement when MK9 released

The season pass for Deus ex is just as cancer as the microtransactions. You're paying for things that will disappear once you beat the game one time. You can never get them back on new saves or playthroughs. You literally lose weapons and the money you spent is gone. The pass is $30 buying the 2 story DLCs separately is cheaper then buying the pass. Square wanted to push the cost of the pass up to $30 so they just threw in random junk to bump up the cost to people. It's like what Gear...

Its because they flat out told everyone when the arcade version came out it would only be on PS4, due to the arcade version running on modified PS4 hardware and the control scheme even being similar.

Yakuza 4 and 5, P4:arena ultimax, and dragons crown should be there too. I think plus would do better if they had more Japanese games. PS3 was great for this but ever since the PS4 launched the best it's gotten was Ground zeroes.

Geforce experience is a free service thats adding another layer of fees, this whole thing is the first step to mandatory subscriptions on a range of hardware and services we use. Also you missed the point I was making.

It's dumb when you realize you can buy TWEWY, FF6, dragon quest 8, and san andreas for a similar price point on both ios and android

People can throw the classic fallacie around "if you don't like it dont buy it." But people should have a right to complain about it none the less. That's like saying "Shut up you're not allowed to complain because you don't like it," if a service like this happens that potentially undermines all of the PC market by validating more subscription fees to other basic PC services then sooner or later it will grow worse as not enough people are voicing their opi...

The original account was Gansta_red. I think he got banned or something so now he's acting like a complete fool. Ironically he used to fanboy for Microsoft hard, so now he's out to attack others for fanboying the opposition, despite doing the same.

Dude the kind of work this microtransaction thing would take months and months and you know damn well they had everything planned at least a year ago. This isn't some listening to feedback thing its just part of the roadmap.

Overwatch is actually fun to play and the characters are likable. Battleborn had more yes, but executed everything poorly. Characters and writing are some of the worst aspects of the game imo. Outside of the fact it's literally an FPS Moba which turned off most people, while Overwatch is just a shooter with predefined characters. They are both presented to be similar on the outside yet game wise they are different in genre.

I understand their reasoning but lowering the age rating has been shown to actually hinder sales in the past. CoD didn't take off till CoD4 released and suddenly became an M rated game for example. The Deadpool movie was one of the most successful superhero movies out of everything that was released since 2007, and kids still went and saw it with their parents despite the R rating. Their way of thinking hurts them more now then it would normally just because of the fact that the JP versio...

When they release some comatose-reality based video game is when things take off. The dream for a .hack like game will become a reality.

Their logic is that sexy ripped males are a power fantasy for males and sexy fit females are a sexual fantasy. Basically, the concept of fantasy defeats these people.

What blows my mind is I keep seeing this whole argument everywhere that states that "It's ok because I knew what I was getting" which makes no sense because up to release we've had 0 public demos, scripted pre-planned live demos, sugar coated previews with Sean at the helm, and the only time anyone who wasn't a developer had control over it was during heavily supervised preview booths.

Literally every bit of gameplay shown was fabricated or stretched ...

I agree with 2 of their of their demands because it's actually hindering them in their livelihood. However, like everyone else has been saying the residual payments thing is pushing it too far. The devs that made the entire game don't even get residual payments, why should they get special treatment? Also it's pretty screwed up that the VA for Kellogg in Fallout 4 had no idea he was doing a role for it after doing the role for a year and half working on lines.

It's some underage kid with mental problems going around spamming comment sections on random articles with the same lines. He used to comment normally then relegated to this weird mental patient thing.
