@tanmcrossing, when they filed the patent for this new matchmaking idea, it revolves around the idea that they would place a gamer in a room full of better players that have MT Content. This new player would get smashed, and thus be encouraged to purchase MT's. Once they purchase the MT, the gamer would then be routed to a room full of terrible players, to feel more godlike, and be encouraged to purchase MT's again in the future.
Last year, I got an Xbox One S. I got the kinect adaptor because I thought I would miss the kinect. I never hooked it up and forgot it existed. Guess that says enough for my house.

As an Xbox fan boy myself, even I can see that Sony doesn't need an answer to the X1X right away. Sony has massive market share, many exclusives, and great public perception.
X1X is powerful, but not enough exclusives for me to buy one yet. Its great for a lot of people I'm sure, but I'm not ready to jump in until I see a steady stream of exclusives lined up.

You will never know what that's like... I'd like to think I would blame the killer, you know, that jackass that made the prank call and said my family member was a murderer with a gun holding hostages. But I sincerely hope no one here ever experiences that to find out.
However, of the interviews of the family members so far (as read on other major news sources) they are blaming the prank callers for the loss of their loved one.

Same here, stopped following this game a year ago, and it's still the same song and dance today. They always make it sound like great progress was made, teasing that release "could" be soon... But really, they just release enough content to keep people buying.
Also misleading, is that every game I checked (only the ones I'm interested in) can be found CHEAPER at gamestop, or even directly from my X1 Xbox live. Amazon game sales haven't been so spectacular this season, in my opinion. For Xbox anyway.
Yeah, the exclusives do matter. And if Microsoft adopts an approach that they don't matter, X1 will be in a lot more trouble very soon.
Normally I'd already have an X1X by now. But die to the slow exclusive schedule, I'm waiting to see what happens. If PS5 is announced before X1X has a beefier exclusive line-up, I might have to switch.

That is true, however, Bungie made the cosmetics a whole set to earn. Then, they made it IMPOSSIBLE to EARN the whole set in the given event timeline, they made the grind impossible so the only way to get all the cool new stuff is to spend MORE MONEY.
So glad I never got the Osiris money grab DLC, and so glad I'm not dealing with this controversy personally. Just Sad to watch Bungie tank what could be a great franchise.
Indeed, CD Keys has been pretty bare for all consoles lately. I've been wondering if the consoles have somehow been cracking down on their cheap codes. Even the codes CD keys has a lot of times aren't very cheap anymore.

I'm a PC gamer too, with a GTX1080. The graphics are top notch, but I've never picked up a X1 or PS4 game and said "ouch.". That's just fanning a flame.
Heck yeah, I'm going broke tonight. Dark Souls 3 deluxe, Forza 7, Far Cry Primal.... Fingers crossed Diablo 3 shows up on the list tomorrow!
I lucked out with batman, it came with the GPU I bought when it first released (pc version steam code), but because of all the backlash on PC, the developers backtracked and gave every steam user EVERY batman game in the series. So I got every game for free.
