Why is it coming to the Xbox One then!? It has more than a million less install base than the Wii U!
It'll actually be a nub, not a stick.
Eh. I doubt they'll make another revision this big in 18 months. If they do, then I'll feel exactly like those that recently bought a 3DS do now. However, I am not one for upgrading consoles. I buy one, and if another comes out I won't buy it. Hence why I haven't bought a 3DS yet, but this one seems to be the mega evolution of the console. ;)
As someone who is yet to buy a normal 3DS, this news is enough to get me to buy one. However I can see why people would feel shortchanged, as this does feel like it could have been done earlier.
I believe Nintendo probably thought that since this will mostly be playing games that don't need the second "analogue stick", they would want it to kind of disappear when it's not in use. As you said it's barely noticeable.
However I think that's a terrible decision, and I would rather have a proper analogue stick, this one will feel so weird to use.
That'd be sick as!
I at least hope it'll be usable as another GamePad for the console, since it definitely has enough buttons now.
This isn't a new system, it's like the DSi compared to the DS. Same system with improvements and some exclusives.
True, so far this gen it seems like Nintendo games are the only ones that can live up to, or surpass the hype attached to them.
I'm not surprised, Smash Bros. hype is just as high as Destiny hype, if not higher. And Destiny has been open for pre-orders for ages, amiibos only opened yesterday.
I seriously like the way they're all in different poses, some not even touching the ground. It adds extra character.
I can see why some people are upset, but as someone who is yet to purchase any 3DS system at all yet, this is great news.
Looks to me more like one of those mouse circle things in the middle of keyboards on older windows laptops. Remember those? No? Ok.
No, Resident Evil Revelations looks like a 360 game.

Same as the first two guys, glad I'll be able to get Xenoblade on it, that'll be sweet as! I've been thinking of getting a 3DS since it came out, but this'll do it. Just disappointed that it's coming out next year! I wanna play Smash when it comes out...
These are games by nintendo, not games in total coming to the Wii U. Sony couldn't even push out 10 games on one system in a year.
Yes! Free stuff! I love free stuff!
I honestly thought Giant Robot looked much better than guard, sure, the controls looked screwed up, but the gameplay was there and it looked fun, unlike project guard. Project guard needs some serious work on the gameplay if you ask me.
And people thought GTA V had a big map?
With that much content it could take years to finish at an average pace. Can't wait.
While true, Minecraft is the kind of game that would sell like hotcakes on the Wii U. We simply don't have anything like it at the moment.
