I'm pretty sure Aonuma said at some point that the scene we saw was not actually a cutscene, but gameplay played back with different camera angles (like a replay in MK8). If this is what gameplay looks like, you can only imagine the cutscenes.
But it could have been a bad translation, he might have meant that the cutscene was in-engine.
He's lying.
If you look at the developer journal for the Wii U version, you'll notice that the updates for it stop around the same time they started work on the PS4 and Xbox One versions. This suggests they just left the Wii U version on the shelf. That's the only reason why it's not launching at the same time, they're not working on it. They're only saying that because they know it'll look bad for them having left one of the first versions for so ...
I'm not sure if it's the same in Europe, but in Australia they're having both games at a lower price, and a discount on the second after you've bought the first. The discount makes it the same price as the both in one pack. Pretty sure the discount is eShop only, though.
True, but wouldn't their compression work on Bayonetta 1 as well??
It's interesting that Bayonetta 1 is larger than 2. Perhaps they're using more efficient coding this time? Who knows, but it seems like small game files is a recurring theme on the Wii U. With Mario Kart 8 clocking in at only 4.9 gig.
Wow, that trailer was fantastic! Even if it showed spoilers.. This game looks like non-stop fun.
This is awesome! I really, really hope they use the same or similar idea for the Western adverts.
I just think the voice actors need to sound convincing, unless they're using facial motion capture then it doesn't matter if they're unconvincing with expressions.
Well, you can't say they don't go all out trying to make the game feel authentic...
That could be great. Have you seen the 3DS themes coming? One has Mario jumping between the apps as you swap past them.
Agreed, MK8 always looked amazing.
Are you saying that they shouldn't put this game on the Wii U?
They should, and chances are it would sell as well as an xbox one version.
"Nintendo owners don't buy anything that's not Mario or Donkey Kong"
There we are. Right there, you've made it clear that you're a troll. Everyone knows that Nintendo owners play much, much more than just Mario and Donkey Kong games. That's a very ignorant comment to make.
Wii U is almost doubling its sales per week atm. With Smash Bros. coming I can't see that changing.
This video is really good. It gets me hyped up just watching it. Now they just need to split it up and play it on TV.
I already own one, but I can see that people who don't own one obviously don't have enough for a second system, and that's ok. Maybe further along the line they may end up buying one for some sweet Mario Kart action.
I would also like the ability to choose which physics your level uses, instead of always handling like the original game.
Who would want this? She's like, 12. Any person that wants this is kind of creepy tbh.
Sounds great. I wonder if there will be 3rd and 4th DLC sets? Perhaps what you are talking about could happen with this Mario Kart?!?! *_*
They're pretty great value, really. It adds another half a game worth of tracks for a fraction of the price of one.
You can't post fakes on Miiverse, silly.
