forza 4 is consistent all tracks and cars look equally good and it does look better than gt5(I have the demo as well as gt5) whether you accept it or not.

nobody ever said gears 3 looks better than UC3 people only compared it to UC2 and gears 3 DOES look better than UC2(I have them both) but obviously doesn't look as good as UC3 this is coming from a pc fanboy by the way so I'm not really a fan of any console
I still find crysis 1 on console to be the most impressive though it has massive scale, fully destructible environments and still manages to come close to uc3 in visual quality

you are correct the pc version of BF3 looks muc etter than the beta and will make all console games look like ps2 games just like hard reset, witcher 2, crysis 1.metro 2033,crysis 2, crysis warhead: gta 4 with mods and a few other pc games already humiliate console games in such a manner.

in all I do think ps3 is maxed out just like 360 because the difference between killzone 3 and killzone 2 is very minimal as well in fact killzone 2 is actually superior to killzone 3 in some areas such as lighting, AI. the fact that there are less jaggies and a few others but killzone 3 does do some things better such as weather effects.
