crysis 2 was HEAVILY compressed on 360 yet the ps3 version didn't have an advantage in visuals just sound quality

blu ray is not graphics hardware so it can't offer better graphics what blu ray can do is ensure developers don't have to compress data so quality isn't compromised. if the game is hige texture quality can also suffer if textures have to be compressed to fit dvd space but carmack said they won't need to compress with 3 disks at first they wanted to go with 2 disks looks like microsoft let them go with an extra one so the 360 version wouldn't suffer
for a console with only 4 IPS halo, gears of war, forza and fable they aren't doing that bad but they'll get more fans if they had more IPS why don't they develop banjo kazooie, kameo, perfect dark, shadowrun, lost odyessy, jade empire(from xbox1) and killer instinct ? they already have the ground work layed they're just being lazy
