crysis 2 didnt have fully destructable, MASSIVE fully exporable environments crysis 2 was linear with crappy very limited physics compared to crysis 1. and crysis 2 on consoles ran on LOW-MEDIUM crysis 1 settings so what does that tell you ? please do some research on crysis 1 and you'll understand
if its an OPTION then who cares if its added or not ?

gears 3 does look amazing.
people will never be satisfied at least they remade the entire game with an improved version of the halo reach engine(at least this one uses FXAA rather than tsaa that causes ghosting as well as other enhancements at least according to Microsoft) rather than just releasing the xbox 1 version with upped resolution like konami is doing with their ps2 game collections.

343 is filled with ex bungie staff so halo will remain intact. at least their using halo reach engine to remake the ENTIRE game rather than just releasing the same xbox version with a resolution increase. ms did say 343 had done alot of work on the engine since reach and I heard 343 got their hands on fxaa code so the halo remake might use it rather than the tsaa in reach that caused alot of ghosting so we can expect the remake to looks better than halo reach

1 year lead over microsoft makes alot of sense but by 2012 gpus won't be as powerful as 3 gtx 580s so samaritan tech demo graphics wouldn't be possible on it unless sony launches a $7-800 console(ps3 cost about that much in the eu and U.K the price was reduced in the U.S) which I doubt they'll do again. microsoft can wait till 2013 or they can easily launch a console in late 2012 with massive horesepower(3x gtx 580 performance) as they have the deepest pockets in the world they co...

nope lol they've been recycling the same franchises for 25 years. how many times has nintendo released the SAME ocarina of time ? I've personally lost count. they've been recycling metroid,mario,zelda,star fox, smash bros and eh thats it.
killzone 2 was AMAZING. killzone 3 sucked to be honest and had a VERY short campaign wwn compared to killzone 2 and I think its sad considering the fact that killzone 3 is a 40gb game while killzone 2 is a 13gb game looks like disc space doesn't affect game length most of the time, uncharted 2 was 25gb and still had a VERY short single player. guess most of the space is used for high quality sound and high resolution cutscenes
