ms needs new ips and so does Nintendo(who has been recycling the same IPs for over 20 years). Microsoft actually has a few (lost odyssey, shadowrun, killer instinct, kameo,crackdown, perfect dark, alan wake, project gotham racing and banjo kazooie) but for some reason they are only in halo and gears when those other Ips I mentioned are already established. lets just hope ryse isn't kinect only

why not make a new IP they've been on zelda, mario,star fox metroid and donky kong for over 20 years now ? zelda games are always the same, save the princes and fight ganondorf( who by the way just keeps coming back to life) he has always been the final boss of all zelda games, this has been the story for over 20 YEARS it maddening but the game is still pretty fun
the ps3 has the same amount of ram as 360 so what are you talking about ? both ps3 and 360 have 512 mb of ram. the ps3 and 360 are oudated EVEN buletstorm pc or farcry2(that doesn't even look near as good as crysis) makes all console games look like crap. storqage medium is important but processing power,ram and memory bandwidth is even more important as those are what drives the games. infamous 2 is only 6gb did you know that ? bet you didn't. uncharted 2 is 25gb and terribly linear ...

how do you know ps4 will use ray tracing ? do you have a crystal ball or something ? according to nvidia real time rayt racing will only be possible by 2015 and I doubt sony will wait till then to launch ps4 as developers are already beginning to complain about the limitations of current generation consoles. by the way ray tracing has its advantages and drawbacks when compared to rasterization(which alll gpus use as of now) so combining the 2 should be a win win
