the nexbox will use 28nm or 20nm global foundries. 28nm was ready early this year and AMD will be launching the first 2nm parts before years end. the nextbox will be high end . by 2013 20nm fab processes will be ready.
the cpu will be weak but the gpu will be very powerful and flexible and will be able to handle AI, physics as well as graphics so most of the machines horsepower will be in the gpu.

no I own all platforms including a high end pc, just don't like their love affair with MS thats all aside from that there's no reason why the ghost recon: future soldier beta can't be on all platforms rather than xbox 360 exclusive.
ubisoft has always had a thing for MS so I'm not surprised
MS is contracting them to make an exclusive for them just like they did splinter cell: conviction, gears of war, Ryse(the new crytek upcoming 360 exclusive) and steel battalion(segas upcoming 360 exclusive)
remember MGS4 and yakuza series are 3rd party ps3 exclusive right. MS seems to be going the route of contracting established developers to help them make exclusives. I actually prefer MS going this route than depending on RARE and lionhead which are 2 literally dead studio...
dice already said both versions will be equal in the graphics department with the pc version being a generation ahead. but the ps3 version will be better than the 360 version because it comes with a free game and higher quality sound.

that's a LIE if it was true AMD wouldn't be hyping the nexbox's AI and graphics capabilities would they ? the nexbox is coming in 2012 and it will be based on an AMD GCN gpu(amds new gpu architecture it allows the gpu work as an apu and can do anything from graphics, physics, AI and from what I have seen it can run an OS) and a multicore cpu from probably IBM .
AMD got the contract to design the gpu in 2009 they've been working on it ever since.

they just need a quad core cpu like an i7 2600k which is FAR more powerful than the ps3 cell and a MONSTROUS gpu capable of handling physics, graphics as well as some AI using direct compute/open cl. the ps3s cell has so many weaknesses I don't even know where to start.
sony already said the ps3-ps4 gap wouldn't be as big as from ps2-ps3.
bioware still has a preference for 360
contrast is different aside from that they are basically the same all you need do is adjust your tv settings. the pc version will DESTROY the console version anyways :) PC FTW!
